I am doing my first shift there on thursday-stage fees are minimal (I believe $10 for nights), the place is TINY, customers are pretty cool, normally the younger rocker crowd. Not sure how willing they are when it comes to dances. If you're looking for a club to make great money this may not be it, but don't take my word for it! It may be the exact opposite. I usually dance once a week for fun, not necessarily the money, it's close to where I live and I like the people. If the primary objective is to bank this may not be a great club.I am working Thursday and Friday 4 to 9 there, I'll let you know how the money was![]()

Aline, I'm curious what you made and how difficult it was to get on the schedule. I REALLY want to work here or at Lucky Devil. Do you have a lot of dance/pole experience?
Well, I think this is a great place to work if you want to meet cool people and have nice coworkers. Or if you can get on a night shift. I have worked two 4 to 9s so far, made $100, and only because I hustled. The ladies on the 11 to 4 made nothing both times (well maybe $10). The nightshifts, from what I have heard, rock, however, seems to me that it's always the same girls that get these.
I only work once a week, so I am not the best judge, and I do think if you work the 4 to 9s you could make ok money. If it's the money you are primarily interested in, not the great work environment, then you may have to try somewhere else. I would give it a try-if you don't like it you can always quit again. The audition process was pretty easy, the people were nice, you just have to hound the booking agent a little after your audition so he puts you on the schedule.
Maybe check it out during a few 4 to 9s and see what you think? If I danced fulltime I would probably consider this a waste of time, but I do love working there because I don't really need the money and wanted to meet some cool people.

Thank you! You're lovely for sharing this info. I might try it. Did you make $100 both nights or $100 altogether? It's be nice to work somewhere that has 5-6 hour shifts, as I currently have 8+ hour shifts. And we're not allowed to bring our own food, which is shitty. I do anyway.
No problem! If you want to go by how long the shifts are, most clubs in Portland have 5 to 6 hour shifts. I would really try Mystic or Jody's, I made bank over there, hustling only somewhat hard. My average was about $200 to $250 on a Sunday 6 to 12 pm.
But Devil's Point is definitely fun after 9. I made $100 both times, and I am going back one more time tomorrow 4 to 9. If it's the same I am going somewhere else, $100 kinda sucks...come by and visit if you want, maybe check out a few of the 4 to 9s as a customer. I don't think they would put you on closes right away-but the again they might, and if that happens I would definitely work there. Since I only have one shift I will never get any closes, lol. Ever.

Yeah, at this point I'm happy with $100. I made $44 today and like $30 yesterday after an 11-7 shift. That's like half of minimum wage. I have only broke $200 once since starting almost a month ago. I will definitely check out Mystic. I've heard good things about them. I'm worried that since Jody's is a "sports bar" it will have a hang out atmosphere with no money spending.
Aw I wish I could have come by and seen you today~ I just saw this message. I hope you made lots of moneeeey.
Yeah, screw that place. I made $20 there on my 4 to 9 yesterday, there were literally 2 people in the bar the whole time and they were regulars. Needless to say I will not be going back. I talked to a girl who had been there 2 years and said she finally got a night shift after a YEAR. Ridiculous.
I think Mystic is a great idea, and Jody's is good even though it's a sports bar. But I think there may be more money at Mystic. I have a shift at the Pallas this Saturday night 8 to close, I'll let you know how that went as well.
