Hi ladies! This is my first post hereAfter waitressing for a while I finally had my first day of dancing yesterday. Apparently I did good, especially for a Monday which are usually very quiet. I actually really liked it and I'm glad I used my time as a waitress to familiarize myself with the club and some of the staff, it made me a lot more comfortable. I thought I'd have a muuuuch harder time doing dances for skeezy old dudes but that switch in your head turns off pretty quickly once you're actually doing it (and the guy opens his wallet, heh).
I did notice that I have a much harder time actually going up to guys to talk to them then actually doing dances - especially the old fat ones. The other thing that worried me is that I felt like I kept doing the same thing on stage over and over because I don't know a lot of moves or tricks yet, but I'm guessing this will come in time. Did you experience the same? I just kept hoping nobody would really notice and get bored with watching me. I find it hard to practice at home because I have room mates (and thick ass carpet that doesn't do much when you try to move around on it). All in all, the day went great, except for in the last 20 minutes I tripped and sprained my ankle, ouch! I also have ridiculous bruising on my knees so I'm going to get some Arnica for that. I actually had to take the day off because I can't dance like this so hopefully I'm back in the game tomorrow!
Okay sorry for the ramble but I had to share![]()
