Okay ladies, I'm not trying to discourage you- but my first night was HORRIBLE. I went in early to avoid a house fee, (best thing about the club, imo), at around 6:30pm - club opens at seven. We were DEAD slow, probably like, 2 customers for about four hours. I am horrible on stage, I look like more of a go-go dancer than a stripper. I just dance sexy around the pole, and that is really all I got...I had about 6 veteran strippers to compete with, and every time I went on stage, they got sassy and humiliated me/talked shit about me with the customers. One of them even came on stage to "help" me. Sooo embarrassing.
Anyway, I was just watching how the girls hustle to try and pick up a few pointers on getting floor/vip dances, AND MY DAD COMES INTO THE CLUB. So I run back to the dressing room before he sees me, DJ is mad because I won't go on stage with my dad there - then after that I lost all motivation to work. I talk to one of the girls that has been helping me all night, who is so sweet and trying to give me pointers, and the girl who talked about me with the customers comes in and tries to talk shit to me, then says that she was just trying to "help" me, and be there for a new dancer.
Honestly, I probably only made 16 dollars in stage tips and that is all. My first night was so discouraging. Don't expect to go in making bank, because obviously it doesn't happen that way.
I'm so sad!
But don't think all of the dancers are this way, a few of them were really sweet- one of them showed me around the club, told me how much VIP rooms were worth, how much floor dances were, the "rules" of regulars, and just let me hangout with her all night. She was a gem! No one really had attitude with me except for the one lady, which I don't understand, because I'm obviously not much competition. She's been dancing for 7+ years, and she is great on the stage.
All in all, I went in expecting nothing- I know that sometimes there are really bad days, and other times there will be good days.
Just don't expect too much when you start.. out of the club, the money, or the girls.
