Default Is Austin more of a daytime city?

While requesting info on different clubs in Austin, I've noticed that many clubs seem to have a big need of daytime dancers. If so, is there good money in Austin during the day or nights are still better in Austin?

Never worked a day shift in Austin, but I routinely hear girls struggling to tip out, being excited for breaking $200 and saying stuff like "I just want one more dance in this last hour." Even on Fridays and Saturdays. But I think a lot of girls show up at 2 or 3 for the dayshift, and they have to be gone by 8, so that's not really much time to work, IMO.

You know, i always work nights but about 3 weeks ago i had an events i had to go to all through the weekended and was short on cash. I worked a day shift on a saturday at palazio. I got there around 2ish and left at 6 in order to make it to an event. I made right under 300. I was pleased, i really expected to make just a 100 or so. I had super low expectations for day shift from everything ive heard. I stick with nights but if i ever have to work a day, i wont concider it something horrible, kwim? Stick with nights though, if you can.

OH. and i charged $20 a dance. No way would i ever do $10 a dance lol... Guys didnt fight it or anything, I would eveither warn them they were $20 before dancing or just at the end i'd tell them how much the owed and they were totally fine with it. palazio does $10 during the day but the DJ doesnt mention it. Just charge $20 unless the guy tries to argue about it.

At most clubs in Austin, dances are $10 until 8pm, and where I usually work, $10 all day Sunday and the DJ announces it. Never worked a Sunday, but apparently a lot of girls charge $20 anyway.
