I'm concerned about damaging the implants/effecting the shape. I got them done in March BTW

I had mine in 2011 and unfortunately due to my size I don't wear underwires. It's only sports bras or granny bras for me.![]()

yes and i waited 6 months

^^^ Thanks LOL. I figure fuck it just stick with sports bras. I'm always at the gym anyways. Out of curiosity I checked out the lingerie at wal mart because some of the tags said "extended size range". That's just a polite euphemism for "morbidly obese sizes". I found plenty of 46DD's but not even a 36DD. (I can wear it if I safety pin it)

I damn near fainted when I saw the prices of post-boobie-job bras. But keep in mind, they have sales, discounts, coupons, etc.
The trick is to get measured or measure yourself. Euro-vs-USA sizing is different.
My boobs fit well in a 36DD cup (USA size)... the band is insanely huge of course, which is why I started researching this stuff to begin with.
I wear a 30FF bra :my ribcage is small roughly 27" around, with a difference of 6.5" for the boobs... that puts me at 30F... but I add an extra cup size for the .5" left over.
I know this mostly because I cheated... I went to a store and got professionally fitted... I'm not talking Victoria's Secret or Fredericks of Hollywood (which consistently gave me bullshit random sizes somehow).... I went to TownShop in NYC, but for a store near you perhaps, there is this (i think i heard you mention you were in p.a.): http://myintimacy.com/find-a-store/l...ia/criteria:2/
More stores that offer this sort of service, just to give you an idea:

For anyone considering getting PROPERLY sized underwire bras check out this post: http://www.stripperweb.com/forum/sho...ht-bra-(34-DD)

If it feels like an underwire bra might damage your implants it is because you need to be fitted for a bra that is the correct size.

I had crease incision and was told to wait 6 months. I think I started wearing underwires around 4 months anyways..
I found that walmart target and kohls have 36dd ( my size) bras for very affordable prices.
Most of them are just plain and ordinary looking but I occasionally find a few that are really cute still.

VS bras in that size are extremely limited. I've found only 9 currently available online. Apart from the fact that I loathe VS bras (weak straps, shitty material) I have to mention that bras are (or at least SHOULD be... *cough-cough* Victoria's Secret, hello! *eyeroll*) well designed, carefully engineered paragons of mechanical wonderment.
Altering one of the variables (a band, as you suggest) throws the engineering off.
Also... if one were to purchase a bra... keep in mind VS bras aren't exactly bargains... the risk of butchering it by a snip-snip here and a snip-snip there is far too high. Unless you have a serger sewing machine, piecing the bits back together is going to be difficult and will likely ruin the structural integrity of the bra itself.

Nordstrom has some very sexy bras all the way up to J cups !
