Default Post ba breast pain- d&f or bottoming out

So here I go again.. 24 days post op, still in pain, still worried...

I saw my ps last week, he told me my nerves were recovering, which made sense.
Yesterday I overdid it, and my righty is killing me. I swear it feels like the implant is going to fall out the bottom. Plus my nipples are still on fire, nobody told me how intense that feeling is!
So I know my nerves are still messed up since my nipples hurt.. but I can feel the edges of my implant on the bottom and sides of my breasts.
I started with plenty of tissue, thick skin, and got a very modest size 300cc implant. My lefty is beautiful. The righty is painful, cleavage isnt as full, creating a slight one sided gap...
    Jeez Im driving myself crazy
Recovery is taking so long. Im afraid Im bottoming out...
I cant wait for this to be over so I can be normal again!

Well this morning I'm feeling better, I think my implants are dropping. I didn't expect to be so sore this long after surgery, my nerves hate me! This whole process has made me rethink my idea of going bigger any time soon.

you are going to feel twinges of pain, your nerves are reconnecting...you have to remember you just got cut open. i have had mine done twice and hell i still feel weird shit but i have never had a complication...take vitamin e capsules to help prevent CC. and massage do they drop. and wear a sports bra for awhile so they settle nicely. i wore mine for 6 months im 7 months out the second time and mine looks fab.

I think some people have a much more painful recovery than others.
Some women are up and running the next day.
I expected to be back at work within a week, and am only now feeling close to going back.
I'm glad your recovery has been smooth, but it doesn't mean everyone else's feels the same.

No, I really do agree with your previous statement that you're driving yourself crazy.
I never said your recovery wasn't hard or that it should be as awesome as mine.... I just stated that I also think you are driving yourself crazy.

It's easy to freak yourself out. When I got mine done the first few weeks any twinge of pain I would have my PS on the phone. (fortunately he was a good sport)

It's good to take advantage of post op appts to ask all the questions you can.

Its has been a rollercoaster, I'm starting to feel bitchy because recovery taking so long.
I think this next week will be way better..
Temptest- do you think your revision will be easier? At least you will know more what to expect.

My recovery was pretty rough too so I hear ya sister. Be patient and it will get easier. Just remember not to freak yourself out... at the end of the day if something goes wrong the worst that happens is you have to fix it... its a first world problem really. But soon all this fear will go away and you'll be recovered and its all a distant memory. Hang in there.

I met a girl recently at work who got her boobs done by the same doctor. I always though that the recovery/results were all about who your doc was. Not the case at all. This girl got her boobs done two months before me and they look like mine at 3-4 weeks post op. I have indeed had a very good recovery and am thankful. Even though we went to the same doc and he is a good doc, everyone's body is different. I only say don't freak yourself out because I started doing that. you could ask BOTM, I was texting her constantly with pix of my boobs asking if she thought I'd messed them up or if something was wrong with them during the first weeks. It just takes time. No matter what, surgery is surgery and its no small thing, it takes time for our bodies to adjust to it, some just more than others. I am sure that with good care and a good amount of time off everything will settle down and work out. Good luck.

Well the good news is that week four has been 100 times better! I feel so much better, the pain is gone, I returned to work, and am starting to really love my boobs.
They have improved my money, but mostly I feel more confident.
Stage money has doubled, but idk if dances are that increased, I've always hustled.
Thanks for all the support, I ddint realize how stressful recovery was, and it helps to have advice from people who have been there.
