Default We Are Intelligent, Creative Women

Reading threads on SW and chatting with some of my camming buddies reminds me how creative and intelligent camgirls can be. Today I was searching for sewing patterns online and reading all sorts of DIY blogs. That inspired me to try some new projects.

There are little bits of creativity sprinkled throughout this section of the forum, but I thought it would be fun to have a place where it can be concentrated & worshiped Also, this might be a good place to swap talents, brag about our creativity, teach one another, or just inspire our sisters.

As long as it doesn't violate any of the forum's rules, share pictures and link sites/pages

So... do you make your own camming clothing? Are you really proud of your cam-room-decorating abilities/ideas? Do you use an ordinary item in an extraordinary way that has really improved your day? Design your own webpages? Have a creative way of getting customers to keep coming back? Have customized packages that you sell? Are you really talented with anything industry-related that you'd like to share? Have an easy fix for a pesky camgirl problem? Etc....

    You get the idea, right?

    Okay, guess I'll go first.

I like wearing thigh high tights, but have a hard time keeping them up. They just slide/roll down my legs, I'm constantly pulling at them. I try to buy the kind with the silicon bands inside, but not all of the ones I find that I like have those. So I came up with a way to sort of make the bands myself.

Take a pair of thigh highs and turn them inside-out. Lay them flat. Take some clear silicon sealant (like the one linked below) and paint two stripes on the top band of each stocking. I just left the stripes the way they were when they came out of the tube, but I'm sure you could flatten them with a popcicle stick or knife.

Only do one side at a time on each stocking. Let it dry for an hour or so, then flip it over and do the other side. I have not had any negative reactions to the silicon, but I let it air dry for at least a day before wearing.

I love this topic, thanks for posting!

I've done a couple of theme days for Niteflirt. Totally had fun with it too... best one was 'trailer park glam'! I love putting ideas into motion, it's even better when they pay off.

    Fantastic Idea!! Thanks for sharing!

I do believe that there is a lot of creativity inside us. We just need to find our niche on what inspire us!
I like to fix up old furniture, and revamp it. And I do my cloth when I go out to the club, and I enjoy sewing so much!

Good idea with the silicon. I use a special elastic, what translated would be called Baby elastic. soft and still holding.

I like sewing too, make my own patterns with the Lutterloh system, like crochet working, like knitting (have 4 knitting machines, needles are to slow for me and my size )

Have built internetsites since about 1995 and I am from profession a graphic designer.

You have good timing on this thread. No bras fit me since I am so tiny so I am just in the process of tearing apart and resewing a bra that is way too big for me.

I sew a lot-- costumes, mostly but I am finding that sometimes cosplay costumes can be put to other uses I just made my first pvc catsuit (in black) a few weeks ago and I'm planning on making batgirl/catwoman hoods and capes for it and debuting it in some clips. Looking forward to that like you have no idea

I like to hand sew bows made from ribbons on my outfits.
It really does make your outfits that much cuter!

    All very cool ideas, ladies.

Justanothercamgirl, I know there are sites where you can make patterns for making your own bras, but I think what you're doing is probably a lot easier & smarter. I've made the cups smaller on a bra before, but that was really hard to do. It's easier to take it in around the band for sure.

Very neat. I looked up the Lutterloh system and it looks very interesting. Guess I'm just used to buying a pattern and altering the pieced material until it fits. This system looks time-consuming but less frustrating.

Knitting machines are so intriguing. I love how they can utilize such thin yarn and make a garment. If you did it by hand, it would take a week to knit with needles that small. If I had the space, I'd love to have one. As it is now, I have to keep my sewing machine in a closet.

Yes the Lutterloh takes some more time to draw the patterns, but once you have a "template" you can very easy make all kinds of differend clothes with it. It is very simple, your your chest size and hipsize and all fits right.

For knitting/sewing I have indeed my own room, the machines are very big
This is a fine wool knitter, and the one for the thick wool is even larger.
