First off, what you're describing sounds incredibly creepy, and I'm sorry it happened
If the caller number was from your own state, and the state you have blocked on mfc and sm is the one in which you reside, it's likely that this asshole is someone who knows you from your 'real' aka non-cam life. From school, from a past job, from someone affiliated with your social circle...

I'm not saying security breaches with cam sites don't occur, because they do, just that if the state you have blocked is your own, chances are this in-state caller knows you in your off-cam life. State-blocking on cam sites is never perfect, but mfc and sm have been around for a while, and from what I read they seem to have personal info security issues fairly well covered.

I have read here that on sm, if a guy calls you during a private and you don't answer, he will hear your voice mail recording. This could be problematic if one states their name or phone number in their voice mail greeting, but if your voice mail recording does not include your name or phone number, then you can rule this out as the source.

If I were you I'd call the police and make a report. The fact that you have the number he called from is helpful info, and what he said was disturbing and needs to be documented.

Ugggh, I'm sorry you received such a creepy phone call

Were you in a private when you got the call? Or was it while you weren't working?

You don't have to say hello, it's not a letter.

I don't think anyone has hacked your profile. First, I think that's pretty hard to do, SM has some pretty decent security. Second, your number is not actually IN your profile anywhere that's visible on the front end. It's *possible* but not likely that someone figured out your password to your model account and logged in as you. That would be the only place they could see both your name (in the "make check payable to" if you get real checks) and your phone. If you don't get real checks your real name shouldn't be on your profile anywhere so I don't think he's gotten into your profile.

If your password is an easy one you might should think of changing it since that's all someone would have to guess to log in as you. *IF* he's a reg on a cam site and not just some rando dude you know IRL he's probably perved your room for a really, really long time and knows lots about you. So if your password is the name of your dog or something he could probably easily guess it.

I'm not convinced it's not just some guy you know IRL though.

"He then said ive been wanting me, and watching me why dont you runaway with me."

That sounds like someone who has been watching IRL. Perhaps someone you've been casting aside or underrating (like an acquaintance) or a neighbor or coworker who you see often but don't really speak to much. Any of those people could have easily gotten your number. A friend from another friend, a neighbor from the landlord or stealing your mail and a coworker from HR.

"I said who is this then he told me.. I relpied i dnt know you "

He told you what? His name? He told you nothing and you replied? I'm confused. If he told you his name why not just look him up online or start calling friends, coworkers and neighbors to see if they know him. If he told you nothing why did you reply that you didn't know him? If you really think he knows you from a cam site and somehow got your number, write the support of all the sites you're on (that might have your number in their databases, even from a 2257 form) and ask them if they have a client with that name because you think he's stalking you.

Just as a grammar note, since I'm a grammar fascist, when you quote someone and want to change the subject to the person who is now speaking you can use brackets. It just makes it a little clearer.

    So this:
He then said ive been wanting me, and watching me why dont you runaway with me.

    would be this:
He then said "[He's] been wanting me, and watching me why don't [I] runaway with [him]."
That's a little clunky so it's probably better to just quote what he said exactly.
He then said, "I've been wanting you, and watching you. Why don't you runaway with me?"
    or
He then said he's been wanting me, and watching me. He said, "Why don't you runaway with me?"

For this caller to have found you on cam, he would have to found a way to 1) get around state blocking and 2) hack into your cam profile. The first is possible, but the second far less easy to accomplish. Considering that the two sites you work are large, well-known sites that have a good record of info security, it's really far more likely that this guy knows you from your off-cam life. Yeah, we encounter alot of creeps on cam, but those creeps walk among us as well. From everything you've described this is an asshole local to you who knows you in real life, NOT on cam.

I really think you should call the police and file a report, because honestly, trying to figure out who this guy is on your own will drive you crazy. I'm really sorry it happened, but we here on stripperweb can't tell you where this guy found you. The police can, however, if you provide them with the number he called you from.

Seriously, file a report. In doing so you can find out more about where/who this person is, and it will give the police a distraction from harassing racialized low-income youth. Win win.

I am sorry this happened, I'd be freaked out too
    hugs

My guess is from your photos. There is face recognition software- do you have a lot of photos online with your real name attached to them? Like on a facebook that isn't private or an old undeleted myspace?

My other guess is your photos have some identifying data. Did you upload any photos accidently with your real name in them or your gps info?

I dunno. Non-military face recognition software is pretty terrible. I come up with pages and pages and pages of people who -on real visual inspection- clearly aren't me. People make a big deal about face recognition but it's not as big a threat as conspiracy theorists would have you believe.

The identifying data is a REALLY GOOD suggestion though. It doesn't even have to be as complicated as the GPS info in the meta data (which most sites strip out just because they don't need it). It's super easy to pull photos from just about every damn website on the planet and 90% of those won't bother to rename the photos. If you upload a photo as my-real-name-smile.jpg it'll probably still be named that when someone right clicks/views source/views page info/etc to save the photo for his JO shrine of you.
