    Default Demeter fragrances

I found some fragrances from Demeter that sound fun and I'd like to try except I would be buying them online without smelling first. Has anyone tried their perfume? It's not very expensive but I 'd hate to buy them and not like them at all... I want to get vanilla cake batter, cinnamon bun, gardenia, and thunder storm.

I love their fragrances! I know Ricky's usually has them in shop and that's the only store where I've seen them available for purchase. They smell pretty spot on, very strong and long lasting. I have the vanilla cake batter, since I'm a connoisseur for all vanilla & sweet smelling fragrances. They have some pretty odd ones, dirt, worm and rain just to name a few. Thunder storm kind of smells like rain, pretty outdoorsy and idk wet smelling..if that makes sense? But yeah, they're definitely worth having in my opinion.

^ I used demeter for years since I'm into sweet, foody vanilla scents but they are very faint smelling and you have to put them on like every few hours. I don't like any vanilla to have a coconut base and alot of theirs do. I've used creme brule, cotton candy, I sent cake batter back ( coconut in it) I use to love sugar cookie but they reformulated it years ago and I tried waffle cone and it smelled plastic. If your looking for good foody scents a beter company is body bakery. I use their marshmallow fluff and I get so many compliments, guys will tell all their friends to smell me and no one else smells like me since not many girls like foody scents and don't know o the company.

Yeah there are a few companies like that out there. I use to order from mmu cosmetics but they moved and my last order they changed the marshmallow fluff. Sometimes you need to order ton of testers to find the perfect scent, I think I went through 3 companies and around 60 testers til I found my replacement for the original vanilla from the body shop which nothing else compares too that they discontinued like 10 years ago. I'm pissed though I just received my new order of marshmallow fluff and it's off. This happened once before in the 3 years I've been wearing it but it's not common for batches to be off since their handmade. Just a pia to send back etc and they have no customer service number anymore.

I tried wedding cake( bestseller but wasn't that keen om it) I've tried sugar cookie, crem brule, those were ok, I just got a sample of cake batter it's petty good but I'm really picky and once I tried marshmallow I just knew it was me. What I like you may not so I just suggest getting samples of the body butter( that's how they do samples). You may love wedding cake it's their best seller I just wasn't crazy about it. I may order the cake batter on in a body butter since you can mix vanilla scents incase I don't like it on it's own.

Waffle Cone lasts forever and a day. That is one strong fragrance. The rest are gone within the hour but OMG... waffle cone is intense.

Oh I tried cookie dough. I liked it but there was one note in it( I can't remember since it was 7 years ago) but you may like that. If they took that one note out it would be awesome!

There's a co. called Creative Scentualization, they have a website, & I don't know what it is anymore..I ordered a whole bunch of mini vials from them, only like 1.00 - 3.00 each, but they've prob. gone up, that was awhile ago) green tea, incense, etc. I don't remember if they do the food scents.

I wrote a review on The Body bakery here : http://www.stripperweb.com/forum/sho...14-Body-bakery

Demeter fragrances are some of my favorite however they don't last on your skin for shit. All their scents are pretty dead on and true to life, I especially love Bulgarian Rose, Honey, and Pumpkin Pie. I don't even have to really guess when I buy it online because they are usually that true to life. But what's the point of spending money on something that doesn't last? I still haven't tried applying to fragrance oil and then they perfume to see if it lasts longer because I'm cheap and don't like having to buy extras to make something work. But, I still love their perfumes and they do a scent of the day 20% off if you follow them on twitter.

Gardenia does not smell like a heavy gardenia, as if you picked the flower yourself and was smelling it, it's much lighter and sweeter. Yes it's gardenia but IMO it's probably not what you remember as gardenia. Fuck, I never use mine, it's used but I'd be willing to send it to you for free, Not doing anything but sitting on my counter.

I'm bumping this. Since body bakery is no longer. twinkle toes ( if you're still around ). Did you ever order? What scents did you try? Does anyone know or had tried bakery scents from a company where they don't smell cheap? I really don't want to go through ordering 100 samples from sites to find my signature scent again.

They use to be in Canada. The girl that posted about it here( I can't find it) said they moved to australia and I believe she pored their info. I didn't pay much attention to it because it takes forever to get things from their and i was happy with my current stuff. But i use to order her marshmallow fluff so it's worth a try. even though the last one was screwed up maube she worked it out. thanks.

I think that is her. She moved to australia though? I found one I think may be good. I messaged the lady at like 9pm and she messaged me right back. And said She thinks i'll like her marshmallow it's true one note. I hate when they add clove or coconut. She doesn't have samples though.. I went crazy 7 years ago and bought about 50 samples or more from like 4 companies. I ended up getting MMU marshmalow fluff. It just so happened when they disapeared body bakery had added that scent to it's list. Oh I'll miss it.

That sucks Body Bakery went out of business! I tried them off of your recommendation. I wish I had known the shop was closing.

Demeter has/had a pizza fragrance. I GOTTA smell that!
