I'm not surprised. Fashion-wise, nose jobs are "out" and have been for at least 5 years. I used to want one like 8 years ago but I'm SO GLAD I didn't get one!!! I actually really like mine now. That's like the one thing that will fuck up your face forever if you mess it up.
Celebs that I see who get their nose done get very subtle work too... like the bone slightly shaved or the tip gently smoothed out. So its like... you might as well just leave your nose if you can barely tell you had something done? Two awesome celeb ones I can think of were Holly Madison and Ashlee Simpson. They look phenomenal with nose jobs.
Idk, I see very few people these days I think *need* nose jobs. The only people I know who have gotten nose jobs had hook or "beak-like" noses and look really good with their new nose though. Everyone else doesn't really need one. You can usually contour or angle out slight imperfections in noses so it doesn't seem worth it IMO.

Blake Lively is also another reeeeeally good nose job. I had no idea she even got hers done. The rest of them in the pic look way worse with a nose job because they lost their "natural beauty" in the afters/now. Good nose jobs seem to be rare and risky (in terms of fucking up your face forever). I think people have noticed that, hence the decline.

Lady Gaga & Blake def looks much better with the nose job though. You can see their eyes.
Kim had such a cute nose before. Idk why she even touched it. Megan too, she was naturally beautiful & lucky it didn't turn ugly.

I'm getting my nose done in like 2 weeks. It's a suble change like Megan foxs nose but im really looking forward to it. It bothers me in pictures from a certain angle. there's a small bump at like the 3 quarter side view. I'm also getting my boobs redone at the same time. I'm obviously more nervous about the nose since its on my face but my dr made me feel at ease. He said nose jobs today are much more subtle than ever before where most drs are now going by the phrase "it's not what u take out its what u leave in".
Good luck twinkle toes when it's done well it can really enhance your other features. I've been searching for a long time for surgeons around my area because my nose has a couple flaws as well but I haven't found one I'm comfortable with yet

It will be a much easier healing process for u botm. Without breaking anything it shouldn't hurt very bad then. My dr also said nose jobs are much less painful than they used to be since they don't pack the nose after surgery. That was apparently very painful with the extra pressure and then taking it out. He even said talking to patients that had nose jobs 30 years ago said it was the most painful thing they've experienced. Now they just close with sutures so they don't have to pack it and he said it barely hurts, where most of the pain is gone after about three days and this was coming from my dr who also had a nose job.

^ I had mine done 13 years ago. I ha packing but I had a very evasive nose job, breaking , shaving it down, it was crooked and he refined the tip. I didn't want a suttle job like lady gaga, it doesn't even look like she had one. I went from a sarrah jessica parker nose to a nose a bit smaller than kim k's. My surgeon was the bomb to accomplish this in one surgery ( they say 80% of nose jobs need to be done twice to achieve optimal results) and I had zero pain except the irst few hours after.

And IMO Meagan fox ruined her nose it looks like her nostrils flare constantly now, whatever they did to her tip. I saw her on ellen ( I think it was the first time I ever seen her speak) only seen her on runway ans stuff and I was like that girl looks like a less attractive Meagan Fox but it was her. Her nose was just flaring the whole interview.

I'm talking about the bump not the tip that's how ours are similar. Where it shows on the side view. here's a pic

Do u have before and after pics of urs Michele?
And does anyone else think Heidi looks like a transvestite now? Her face looks really masculine now.

^ Her doc should have shaved her tip down? It looks like a ski slope from the side. No but I'm going in for a redo( boobs soon) and can get it. Though it looks different now than it did a year after. Nose jobs change a lot thoughout the years. Maybe I'll get it and put it up though I'll have to take a pic of it and put it up?

Yeah Megan and Kim K ruined their noses. Sad. That's why you shouldn't fuck with an already nice nose. I could see getting something crooked or very large done though.

Dr. Charles Mglaughlin Tampa. My girlfriend just had a breast redo and he fixed her botched lipo on fri and she said she isn't even taking pain pills, she has almost no pain. He's phenominal and now her nurse friend who's taking care of her is going to him and my other girlfriend wants him to fix her nose.

I had subtle work done. Tip thinned slighly and my slight bump shaved down. Even though you can't rly tell unless u compare before after pics, it's rly subtle, to me it was totally worth it. I went yrs hating my nose and recently had a customer take me by suprise-he said he liked my nose. That it was a nice roman nose. Was music to my ears after yrs of hearing insults all my life. Anyhow, it's so subtle that is not a tiny Barbie doll nose by any means and still has a bit of an ethnic look I get commented on. I hate when I see drs doing those cookie cutter noses on everyone.

Meh, there's no way in hell I would've walked around happy with my "Jewish" nose if I hadn't had it done. I'm also going to say there's been a huge increase in our mainstreaming - meaning, we're no longer marrying or breeding within the religion so there's a lot of new blood. My daughter is as aryan looking as it gets (her father is 100% of German decent) and will most likely never need/want a nose job.
Sorry I missed church. I was too busy practicing witchcraft and becoming a lesbian.

Im about 2 weeks post operation (open rhinoplasty procedure performed by Belo Medical/Dr. Ed Yap in Green Hills, Manila, goretex augmentation on bridge/dorsum and ear/septum cartilege for tip projection...just a refinement and nothing drastic.
*Splint is already off and swelling aint that bad, updated pictures to come.

How is it going so far black sheep? Did u have a lot of pain and or swelling? How's the after care? Is it hard like showers and cleaning it and the normal stuff?

Im feeling good Twinkle Toes.
As for pain and swelling, no pain. Swelling was suprisingly minimal around my eyes/cheeks...2nd day post operation is when the facial swelling peaked but even at its maximum as stated I really wasnt all that puffy/swollen. The nose itself is still swollen but very presentable as in people dont notice anything. I had the splint on for about a week and when it was taken off my nose already looked pretty decent for the 1 week mark, by the 2 week mark most people are looking pretty normal. It takes about a year or so for all the swelling to go away and for the nose to stop morphing and reach its finalized look/shape. So I wouldnt describe the procedure painful at all, uncomfortable yes. My first 2 days I was freaking out cause I couldnt breathe through my nose (all the swelling/congestion that was going on). After the third day, things got better in the breathing department. I iced my nose (around it) for the first 2 days, made all the difference with the swelling deal. The after care, I just use this nasal spray (salt water solution, doesnt irritate whatsoever) and spray up my nostrils 2-3 times a day and then use a q-tip and gently cleaned the dried up blood/snot around the nostrils. As for showers, just dont get the splint wet. Its kinda a pain but fortunately its only on about a week. Also I had the weird smile going on (upper lip stiffness) but after 2 weeks thats gone now. I do a whole lotta research on rhinoplasty (open vs closed technique, ethnic rhinoplasty, goretex vs. silicone vs. natural tissue, nose skin thickness affecting definition, etc.) And I am glad I did, it paid off. This is the same surgeon who did my niece and my sister.
He also did this chick who blogged about it:
http://tinamarieonline.blogspot.com/...procedure.html
P.S. Since I wear glasses, I had to tape my glasses to my forehead as to avoid putting pressure on the nasal bridge. My surgeon told me I had to do this for 2 weeks. That was a pain/inconvenience but it was worth it. Although I dont think I had any bones broken...which btw that also affects recovery time and also open vs. closed approach.
