Default Do customers like "take charge" women?

I was wondering if customers like a woman who takes charge of the conversation, so to speak. This applies to actually getting the customer to buy a dance or VIP. Such as not giving them a choice to say no (come on, baby, let's cut the small talk and cut to the chase for a more intimate conversation in VIP) [cheesy--I know--but its the best example I could come up with...feel free to add your own]

    Any thoughts?

Some customers relish in being told what to do and aggressive hustling tactics while others are completely turned off by it. There's no guaranteed one-way to hustle every customer, you just need to learn to read your customers and tailor your hustle to them as you go along.

This. I use the aggressive hustle sometimes and it usually works. I hate talking to guys, so I tend to just go up and say, "Hey, you just gonna sit here all night? Let's go have some real fun in the back!" etc.... don't give them an opportunity to say no.

We have a dancer at our club that guys straight up call a bitch cause she does it constantly, but she definitely gets dances without having to chat dudes up.

The line might be cheesy but its still a good one...I am sure it works way better than waiting for them to direct the conversation towards VIP and dances...

As it has been said, aggressive tactics turn off some men. I prefer customers be vulnerable to the power of suggestion so I like to lay it on thick to weed out the ones who need dramatic conversation and want to dominate our interaction.
If you are willing to do for one year what other's won't, you can spend a lifetime doing what other's cant.

Any tips about how to tell the difference?

^ i am so cut to the point..I know my aggressiveness sometimes turns people off but I prefer to speak my mind as much as possible...Whne u keep ur mouth closed in certain instances it just makes things worse and people can give u a harder time..As for customers this question is better left to them...Alot of men like the idea of "getting over" on a dancer...So sometimes when they sense ur smart its a turn off..

Melany, a lot of the guys who are what I'd call "dorky" seem to enjoy being taken charge of. In general a lot of foreign guys, I've noticed, like to THINK they are in charge and making an "informed decision" and "getting the best value" so I'll tell them the types of dances and point out that if they get the half hr champagne room they're actually getting more songs for their money then I'll let them think about it and ask what they want to do. There are guys that I know are "club regulars" so I don't offend them by trying to smooth-talk them. I just chat for a minute, ask if they want a dance, if they do, cool, if not I keep it moving. There are some regulars who want to sit there and talk for a few songs and then they will say that they're ready to get dances, and they usually come when it's slow anyway so I don't mind. You just gotta use your intuition, past knowledge of how the club you're at works, and just sort of feel it out.

I find that the customers that are turned off by the hustle are the ones that think they're big spenders and really aren't.

So for the most part, yes men like take charge women.

The word hustle means to be aggressive in business.
