    Default Veneer's? experience

Thinking of getting veneer's. I've done teeth whitening but it usually only last about 6-8 months (big tea drinker). Plus I have sensitive teeth and doing the teeth whitening trays (from the dentist) is not a fun process. I know a few people that have done veneers some look natural while others look like Mr. Ed. lol I've done some research on what to get and what doctors are good in the Boston/NYC area but I would like some personal input.

Vaneers get stained over time like teeth too. It's much easier to whiten your teeth then to get vaneers replaced also less expensive so keep that in mind. I just had mine replaced had them done twice because I wanted them whiter. It's very painful and be prepared to have ugly uncomfortable temporary teeth for a week. The end result is very nice though. If u do get them I suggest drinking tea through a strawl from then on so u don't have to replace them for 20 years. Which is the time they usually last.

my friend just got hers done pretty inexpensively at tufts medical school and they look AMAZING. she had a hereditary problem where she had skinny spaced out not enough teeth, and they put veneers on and they look SO natural and she looks amazing. I basically forgot what she looked like before. if you want PM me and i'll try to get more info from her for you or send u before and after pics. it completely changed her life and self confidence.

I don't have veneers, but have you tried Sensodyne toothpaste for the sensitivity in the mean time? I have used a whitening strip on my teeth once every week for a long time (which has only made my already sensitive teeth more sensitive), but when I started using this toothpaste it got the sensitivity under control. It's the only toothpaste I found that helps.

Sensodyne is a Godsend for anyone with pain whitening their teeth. I actually start my veneer/crown/whitening/invisalign process this upcoming Monday!

Sensodyne is also the brand your supposed to use with veneers because it is less abrasive. It won't scratch them.
