Not saying Im planning on this happening, but I start my first day on Monday....what would they do if for some reason I made NO money for any of that? Highly unlikely, but Im just curious.

I don't know, bc its never happened to me. They will probably not let you work next shift or make you go to the atm? This is why girls should always bring house fee/tip out money. ALWAYS. Shit shifts happens.

Yeah well I would if I could. But, I cant.

Because not everyone has the luxury of doing so. This will be my first day and Im broke as fuck right now. Im sure Ill be fine, and managements cool. I was just wondering though.

Oh girl, first night is usually nothing. Again, depends on the club. Last place I went to on my first night, they made me pay hair/makeup/DJ but no house fee. I wouldn't worry too much about that on your first night.

our club just puts it on ur back balance. as soon as you make money, they put it towards ur back.

It depends. This has never happened to me but once I just made house (and this was begging a regular customer to pay it for me). A couple of clubs went by that if the club was dead none of the girls had to pay because if no one is making money how can they cough up money? Most clubs though I either was required to pay upfront or paid as soon as I made the money.

I've found that in the past more clubs would let you work without paying first, but these days they want their money upfront. Especially from new dancers that may disappear and never return. If you get in good with the manager, house mom after a while they may let you work and pay at the end.

I was worried about the same thing on my first day! Usually they will compensate. Say your house fee is $100 but you only make $110, my club would cut me a deal and only take half+$10. Still sucks, but at least you walk out with more than after paying house fee+tips after a shitty night. A lot of clubs give new girls a free first day so double check with your manager. Good luck!
At my club if you didn't make enough they are pretty understandable. They will tell you to just tip out the dj and door and let you keep the rest...if you made close to house, then they will maybe just take half.

^^^ depends on club policy / manager attitude. If the dancer is 'brand new', they'll typically cut you some slack. However, if it's an 'upscale' club with other dancers lined up waiting to be hired, they may expect payment even if it must come out of your own pocket.

you quit. cuz that means you suck

Eh. I've had nights where I just came in because I was scheduled so I didn't make anything because I chilled in the back reading. I didn't pay anything. Also nights where I've only made a small amount they didn't take a full house fee. Only time I had to pay house when I didn't have the money was when my money was stolen and they let me wait until the next day and just add it on to my house fee the next day.
Just ask your manager.
My club is really relaxed when it comes to this.. they wont make you pay it if you had a shitty night. This has never happened to me though.

I just walk up to customers and ask "If I show you my tits will you pay my house fee?" They usually oblige 98% of the time(true story) "Ask and ye shall receive" If you have 34F tits

All of the clubs I've worked in have a free-first-night policy.
That being said... many of the clubs I have worked in have a bring-the-house-fee-with-you policy.
If you cannot pay the house fee you are either fired, suspended, fined, or have to come in the next day with money to make up for the difference before you're allowed to go on the floor.
Having a good relationship with your management can allow for flexibility... but that's no guarantee.

I've worked at two dif types of clubs. The first experience was when you don't make enough to pay the house they put it on a back balance & make you pay it out in payments w/ your next house fees in the future (I've only had this happen twice -once when I left early because I was sick & the second in the dead of winter in Chicago). The second type is the type that makes you pay your house fee up front when you check in & if you don't have it you pay it as soon as you get it or you can't work again until you pay it. It all depends on how relaxed they are. But times have become pretty hard now so alot of clubs are working alittle more w/ girls.

My club will put it on the books and make you pay it the next shift. They frown on this though. When I first started this worried me as well. Luckily, it didn't happen in the beginning. Now, I set aside my fee amount in a little change purse and I'm not allowed to touch it unless for a bad night.
My favorite club just puts it on back pay in the computer and if you cant tip out DJ and Door man just ask for it when you make some cash. You basically just pay it back in ten dollar increments until its paid off.
Most clubs I have worked at either have a firm pay upfront policy, or if they dont, and it is a truly terrible night (not just for one or two girls, but the club is just dead in general and therefore no one is making a lot of money, they will often be flexible and give all the girls a discount on housefee. I have even worked at one or two clubs that would not make me pay house on a few really bad nights when I didn't make anything. I should note though that this was only a couple times ever, not a regular thing, I think the better relationship you have with management, and the more you show that you are a responsible individual at work, not getting wasted and causing drama and such, the more lenient they will be when you need them to be so. It's different if you made nothing because you sat on your ass all night drinking, don't ever expect any sympathy from management then. Really, you should never expect sympathy in this industry. But it's some nice icing if you can score it. Bring enough $ to cover your housefee and transportation home your first night. Always come prepared for the worst.

Is your fee paid before you start your shift or after your shift is over?
