Nevada > California. All Vegas or Reno clubs are good $$$ potential, it just depends what shift you get hired for & what club works the best for your look (probably which club has the least # of girls working who look like you & has a good amount of foot traffic). Vegas requires a license + sheriffs card (so does Reno but they will let it slide if you pay extra each shift or come in very early).
Agree with Glamour, Neveda is better even though it's not always great, still much better then CA clubs. Plus rent is a whole lot cheaper in NV then CA, and there's no state tax. CA is super expensive to live in and very hard to make money in too, especially as a new dancer. Good luck!
NV clubs are good. Topless tends to be classier and they take less of your earnings. Full nude clubs here tend to be dirty take a high cut and are full of pimps. I wouldn't recommend moving here in the summer for a few reasons.
#1 the strip clubs are slow( while this is high nightclub/ pool club season it is not high season for us)
#2 Less quality clients. The older more refined people Don't come in summer so there tends to be a lot of VERY young guys and bachelor parties (they rarely make money)
#3 Rent and utilities are higher in the summer
#4 Its freaking HOT!!! like over 100 degrees every day
As for places to work you have to figure out which places best fits your style. Some I've worked at other I have just heard from the other girls
Spearmint Rhino- ++ This place is most consistantly busy they have business 24 hours a day
--- The girls here are gorgeous, the manager is crazy, the girls are super agressive
Sapphire +++ Largest club in the world, super busy on weekends, good managment
---- Tons of girls working (weekdays sometimes girls out number customers), most girls . super pretty, girls are pretty aggressive
Crazy Horse 3 +++ Smaller club, lower drink prices, locals, after hours
---- Not as busy, not as high end
Treasures +++ Doing way better than anyone thought, steakhouse, really nice inside, high end
------ Location, hiring manager picky, a mixture of girls not as many sharks
Covergirls +++ brand new, clean, nice staff, high end
----- Brand new, not busy yet, bad location, no one's heard of it yet
Hustler ++++ New, new clean inside, less girls less competition, good drink specials . bring in locals
------ Caliber of dancers not as good, high house fees
Club Paradise +++ Location, know for being classy gown club
------ haven't heard anything about this club from dancers lately
Olympic Garden +++ Location, its been around forever, some girls say they've made . good money there
------ Know for being kinda seedy
glamour & neliana thanks for the great info. scarlet, do you know which of the clubs you've mentioned are topless? I've worked at a club in my area for a little under two months and its topless. The place I'm at now also doesn't assign us hours/days.. we just have to stay for six hours. do all the clubs have predetermined, set hours? thanks for taking the time out of your day to respond!![]()
also, how slow is slow?? i've been making at the lowwwest 230 to about 440.. but sometimes would have to stay seven hours instead of six for the highs.
Right now I'm at sapphire and there are nights I've made barely over my house fee and they require 6 hour min shifts. There have been a lot of girls lately in the locker room talking about how this day or that day they only made their house fee or $50. Now I'm not saying everyone but a lot of girls.
LA is bad for strip clubs, very dirty and not many customers sometimes. Seriously I have worked in clubs where nearly every girl was openly offering everything under the sun (sex, BJs etc) and a lot of them didn't charge much for it either. I've also worked in clubs where there was like 10 guys total coming in and 30 girls working. You can't hustle people that aren't there lol.
I have met girls that make good $ here, but they're usually hot and amazing hustlers ,or they're dirty and great hustlers on top of that. It's really hard to make money here and it can be really draining too. I burned out after awhile because I couldn't take competing with sex for 100 bucks (or less!), dead clubs, and guys expecting to grab everything for 20 dollars
And rent is very high in CA in general, I live in southern CA and I pay 900 for a one bedroom in a not-so-great area..and that's considered fairly cheap. I have a friend who lives in a nicer area and she pays 1200 for her 1 bedroom
I've heard good things about 4play too, never worked there but it seems to be one of the cleanest clubs around here. From what I hear it can be hard to get hired there, but no harm in trying! Im sorry for thread jacking too OP! Lol, if you wanna start a new thread melany I'll post more in that one![]()
nooo nobody has to start another thread, the more info I can get, the better! Thanks everyone!!
melany - let me know how 4play goes. i also heard good things about it
neliana - what "type" of girls do they hire at 4play??
I haven't danced in awhile (and never worked at 4play ) , but from what I've heard they tend to go for the barbie or "model" look. I personally was thinking about trying it out sometime, but I would want to lose weight first cuz Im kind of thick right now.
To get hired you have to do their amateur contest but I don't think you have to actually win or place in the contest to get hired. I've heard of them not hiring girls that "won" the contest but hiring girls that didn't win lol. Of course this all could have changed, but that's the way they were doing it for years
thanks nelianaand melany we'll have to keep corresponding, i'd like to know more about 4play when you start going there
... i'm thinking about traveling the US for a few years... then starting to expand.... i think it'll be a fun time!!!!

If you work hard and consistently in LA money isn't all that terrible.
There are a lot of extras but it's not "nearly every girl" offering them. Just avoid City of Industry.
Scarletkisses gave a good run down of all the Vegas clubs but if you chose a bigger club like Rhino or Sapphires I'd recommend being an experienced dancer/hustler. You need some thick skin and a shark attitude to make the bigger bucks. I can't really speak to the smaller clubs though. And summer is kind of proving to suck both in LA and Vegas right now.
^^ Yup

I agree Vegas is WAY better. I live in Cali and went to Vegas every weekend an am moving there next week. Scartletkisses explained it great. Summer is DEAD. I also work at Sapphire and it gets really bad during the summer. I usually migrate to the Rhino for the summer or cam.
Cali or horrible though. Their house fees can be as high as Vegas and you make WAY less money. Also a lot of clubs in Cali take a house fee as well as a percentage of your dances which s complete insanity. And yes the cost of living is double in Cali as well.
I would go for Las Vegas. More opportunities and rent is less. Just make sure you do your research when it comes to clubs. Scarletkisses was pretty dead on with the club descriptions lol

Hi ladies! Sorry if this gets a tiny bit off topic. I was thinking about trying to work at Rhino's, Sapphire's, or Treasures. I am fairly new to dancing which one would you best recommend? Also which one is best safety wise and do any of you know what parts of Vegas are safest to live in? Thank you(:
i think i'll end up in vegas around mid september
@camqueen... i know henderson is a pretty good area. and about 15 minutes from the strip.

Where ever you can get hired for the best shift at with the most traffic. If you don't know how to hustle hard and aren't 100% confident with what you look like, I would never recommend SR or Sapphire though. Actually, I wouldn't even recommend Vegas at all if thats the case. Idk, pretty much all clubs are good, just find the one that you get hired for the best shift at that has decent foot traffic and that you like the best. The place you are the most comfortable with will probably be the place you make the most money because you'll actually want to be there. With Vegas, you just have to keep working til you stumble across a big spender.
Hi ladies, could ya'll answer a few more questions please?
1. What are the shifts in Vegas and which ones would be considered the best?
I read that newbies get put on the 3am to 9am?? shift which I assume is either terrible or just so so.
2. Would any of you be able to tell me which of the mixed to mostly white clubs are open to hiring black dancers?
I've heard Vegas isn't exactly black dancer friendly, but I'll be stuck here for at least the summer (talk about timing), and have to work with what I've got.
If it helps, body and complexion wise I look like Rihanna and while I don't resemble her facially, I do have a pretty face and no tattoos.
3. This 0 to $50 a shift thing is really scaring me, I need to make at least 4k a month... do things kind of average out so it's not all that bad?
Like, $0 on M, $200 on T, $500 on W, $50 on R, and $750 on F for a total of $1,500 a week or $300 per shift?
I mean, I'm willing to work 6 days a week and doubles if need be, but less than 3k and I'll definitely be tapping into my savings... are thing really *that* bad in the summer?
Please say it ain't so.

Get hired on Any shift is considered best... Day shift is worst. 2/3 am shift is typically for newer dancers and isn't a bad shift.

There are black dancers at all of the clubs I've worked at, there are less of them for sure. There are a few clubs that are known for hiring black dancers Palimino I think?

There is no consistency until convention season. Each girl is different, each club is different. I just tired a smaller club last week. At the beginning of the night one girl made $1200 by getting a private room. While I stayed most of the night on a Saturday and only made $300 after house fees and tip outs. I heard other girls make less than me that night and other girls make more than me that night.
