Actually porn doesn't pay as well as it used to and you have to consider you'll be fucking and sucking a bunch of actors and actresses. Then after you get maybe $500-$2000 the people that made the video will sell it making about $50,000 - $200,000 off of all of you.It would make sense to escort if you're going to perform such acts. Atleast you'll know that no one is making money off of you and no one gets to watch either. Plus the money for a full on scene with a bunch would equal seeing 4-5 people escorting. I know camming has good and bad days. Try different sites to see what's out there. Also many porn models have turned to camming and/or escorting because doing porn just doesn't pay that well. It takes some time to build regs on cam sites, Once that happens you'll start seeing your money increase. Don't give up, it always took one day of hitting my goal to change my ind fast!

Thank u blossom...I was on the verge...and well kinda freaked out (off cam) after days of getting dolled up and being considerate to turning into a 'biotch' with a smile...didn't make me feel good when the consistent rejection became prominent...I've been thinkin of xpeeps...have an acct there and sm is just not my thing at the moment...thank you for your words of wisdom...i'm very greatful and appreciative
I second what cherry said. Porn is fast money but your content is on the net forever an you don't get royalites. You get $500-$2000 for one shoot and then the producer can sell it an then the next guy can sell it an so on an so on. Your content just made double if not triple what you made in the original shoot. Then there's the whole pirated porn situations. God forbid you wanted to use that content on your site or c4s...some producers actually make you pay the same price that other buyers pay. That content wouldn't exist if it was for you yet you still have to pay the same price just to have a copy smh.
I noticed that you said your "hot, friendly, kind" but you didn't say whether you were working consistently like 4hrs 3 days a week. Nor did you say what kind of setup you were working with like a good computer, decent cam, high speed net, good lighting, an a decent cam setting. Also spiltcamming make sitting there waiting for a show at lot less irritating.

I have to agree with what others have said. Porn currently offers the least amount of return while leaving you much more exposed to long-term regrets than any other segment of adult entertainment. Think long and hard. The internet is forever...

There's really no money in porn, but many girls use it for exposure and to build their webcam clientele & brand. You can actually make more on cam working a full day than you would doing porn for a full day. Unless you're a "name" and have built up your brand. But even then, if you can't make decent money on cam, then you won't be getting porn jobs after the first couple months you're in the porn industry.
And I don't think $500 - $2000 is accurate these days. Maybe 2008-2009 (and we all know it was way more before 2007 when the economy crashed). Its more like $300 - $1200 per day or so these days. $300 being solo and $1200 being gangbangs and creampies. As you build a name for yourself, you can raise your rates. But that is solely contingent on actually getting work, which many girls struggle to do after their 2 month newbie phase runs out. Porn is super competitive these days. Its no longer taboo, its now looked at as a viable "fun" career, so pretty girls are willing to work for cheaper and cheaper. Too much supply (girls) and not enough demand (production companies). Most porn stars also feature dance, dance at Vegas/LA/NY clubs on the regular, cam, or escort especially.
