When I make smoothies, I put everything in the magic bullet. Don't feel the seeds.

Synergy has this amazing chia seed kombucha! I like the cherry kind. They carry it at whole foods..

i made them myself in some lemon water, i had to stir it every couple of mintues otherwise they would bunch at the bottom and stick together, but i didnt have a problem with them gelling. i usually just sprinkle them on my yogurt dry tho.

I bought the white chia seeds at GNC, I'm not sure if that makes a difference.... I also notice that you have to put just the right amount of water in there, and stir after 5 minutes or so to break up any clumps. Mine definitely turn into chia gel pudding or something like that! They become very gelatinous and thick.
I found out about them on that anorexic forum/blog that someone started a thread about on here..... the anorexic girls were raving about how they have hardly any calories but fill up your stomach. Upon further research, they are chock full of omega threes, and are a perfect addition to a protein shake to keep you feeling fuller. I wonder though if you can consume too much omega threes.... I already drink Flax milk and add that to my shakes, and take fish oils.
