Hi ladies,
Job hunting sucks so I'm going back to dancing in September. I was wondering:
How important is it to know pole tricks as far as making money?
Splits?
What makes for a good stage show or lap dance?

Peruse the forum and all your questions will be answered in depth. But in short, neither pole tricks nor the splits are necessary for a good stage show or to make money. On the contrary, smiles and eye contact are the big money-makers, both on stage and in a lap dance.

I think it depends on the club you're at. If you're at an urban club they like the 3 ring PT Barnum circus show. (KOD in Miami for example)

Thanks so my girlies!!
I see your point about urban clubs. I've heard that about the clubs in ATL like Cheetahs and Magic City. And I've heard from my black male friends that they like a big show with ass clapping and everything, which I can't really do.
So I'll just work at a white or mixed club, preferably a white club where all you have to do is smile, show your mod, model, so a little dancing, and make eye contact.
I do wish that insane pole tricks made you serious tips. I'm sure the more upscale/bigger the club you'd have more appreciation for your stage act, but unfortunately the club I'm at and in my area are C+ clubs and the girls that walk off with buckets of money earn it by simply shaking their ass as to where I'm literally breaking a sweat on the pole to earn $10-$20 during my set. There is one girl who earns decent money on stage that does no pole tricks nor does she bounce her ass, but simply smiles, giggles, makes serious eye contact with the customers in the room, and acts cute.
I think the more serious a dancer looks, the sexier. That's an opinion from dancer to dancer, but put yourself in the customer's shoes... Most guys come to strip clubs for attention and to feel wanted and special, so if you're making eye contact and smiling all the way from the stage in a room full of guys - ding ding!

Keep in mind that the clubs out here are stage onlyso it may actually matter more than it would at other clubs. Not splits and tricks per se...but a decent stage show as a whole.

^Yea stage show is everything here n va as most of the clubs here have zero lapdances..But I will b honest and say with how lousy bar clientele(not regs but bar clientele) r tipping I could care less about moving let alone pole tricks..F pole tricks..They just mess up ur body and cause extra strain..
