Because of my living and money situation, I can only do outcalls when I start escorting. Has anybody done this or is currently doing this? How many outcalls are realistic?

it boils down to your marketing

Depends on your area, your marketing..etc
I do this because I don't like seeing more than 1 client in a day.

There is a different level of risk associated with outcalls.... You should educate your self more before even considering it search "outcalls" read all the threads. Slow down and be careful

I like outcalls. If things go wrong, I can just leave.

Doesn't make sense LOL. In an incall, you can ask the guy to leave... in an outcall, you could end up with a lunatic that won't LET you leave. See? At least in an incall, you are in your own environment. I wouldn't recommend outcall only to a newbie. That's asking for trouble unless the girl is naturally smart (like me.. ok jk.. lol). No seriously I started as an outcall only girl because the agency I worked for was outcall only and did very well. I literally talked my way out of getting busted once (well to be honest.. talked and ran and the same time lol).

^Me too! And how did you realize you walked into a sting?

When I start working, I will be doing outcalls only, at least at first.
In that vein - is the 60/40 agency split still reasonable and fair if they're not providing the incall or photos? (or security/drivers). They will do the marketing, advertising and screenings. It's a small agency, and discrete, known as reputable, run by a former provider. Not all over the review boards, which was one of my major criteria in selecting an agency to work for.
Keep in mind, I'd be new, w/no established reputation or clients. I'm ok w/the no incall actually, because I live in the downtown area, and in this city, most of the incalls are in an area out in the burbs which would be a pain in the ass of a drive, and not really worth it, unless it was a longer call.
I hear incall is actually illegal in some cities anyways. On top of everything else some decide to do.

when I started I was outcall only for several months (basically until tourist season ended and I could actually afford a room) - as long as you are strict with your screening you'll be fine!
So if you want to be with me
With these things there’s no telling
We just have to wait and see
But I’d rather be working for a paycheck
Than waiting to win the lottery
Besides maybe this time is different
I mean I really think you like me

When I first started escorting I did outcalls only because of my living situation, and it worked out just fine. A lot of guys still emailed me requesting incall even though it clearly stated on my ads/website that I only offered outcalls, so I saved their emails and notified them when I finally did acquire an incall. Eventually I got my own apartment, but I realized that I don't want to do incalls where I live, so now I rent out an apartment with a few other girls. I still prefer outcalls, and I rarely have incall requests anyway!
You will miss out on some business, but I think you'll be fine.
Are you working with an agency or working independently? If you have no prior experience consider working with an agency first. Outcalls are what I do now. How many, as others said, depends on your marketing and area, time of the year, etc. If there's a family holiday or summer vacation work is much slower. So far for me, with no reviews/being unknown, some days bring 1-2, some days just 1 for multiple hours, some days no bookings.
You'll get many more requests than actual bookings as the client can't wait/is sketchy/is just curious. And a reviewed/established escort would likely get more calls. One client in a day, for 2 or more hours, is a good max. for me as I can give him my optimum attention/energy. Also I don't work everyday as I need time to recharge. In some ways escorting is more draining than vanilla work but I enjoy it more.

Many of the obstacles you once imagined are not even there.
