I have the type of body that gains muscle and loses muscle easily. I've never been super thin or lean but I've never been curvy either. More of an "athletic" body type, which when I am toned and feeling good, I don't mind at all.
I took a month or so off from dancing, and I'm starting up again this wk. However, I feel thick or out of shape. I eat right, and I wear clothes that compliment and fit properly, and I started working out again today...but I want the opinion of other dancers if I do indeed look out of shape, or if I am just being over critical or analyzing too much. Please be truthful but kind. My self confidence in my appearance is a little low right now.
