If you don't mind a new twist on something familiar.

The country has been looted.
My favorite was Rocky Mountain Way by Joe Walsh. That was my favorite to dance to.

Steve Miller Band - Abracadabra

If your gonna go with the Steve Miller band then you need these classics.
Then there is the Eagles if your gonna slow it down.............
Might be great if your a feature and starting a Country set.........

Consider back to back songs of these two sets.
Bus Stop - The Hollies (but you need to find the live version that was recorded in the early 70s.)
Turn Down Day - The Cyrkle
***
Happiness is a Warm Gun - The Beatles
All Too Much - The Beatles.

My all time favorites are Lay It Down by Ratt and Touch Me by the Doors. I also like Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple, Cherry Pie by Warrant, Loving You Sunday Morning by the Scorpions, Inside Out by XYZ, and anything by Bon Jovi, Ratt, Guns N’ Roses, and Motley Cure for that matter. Which by the way I’m surprised no one here has mentioned Girls, Girls, Girls yet!

You still are--though I guess it has been about a year since I put you onstage. Once a night, then you'd be up in the CR the rest of the night lol.
ArmySgt thanks for posting that Ministry cover of Get It On (Bang a Gong), I've been using the Power Station cover for years now, but it's great to mix it up, and I love Ministry.
One of my all time favorites is 'Fantasy' by Aldo Nova, but you have to cue it in 30-50 seconds, and keep playing with the volume control until it kicks in.

A whole lotta love <3

Those covers sound frikkin awful.

I have a CD that is a bunch of Led Zeppelin covers by other well known bands, some of them are better than others, but three of them are really pretty good for something different. This one by STP is good, if slightly downtempo from the original.

Wow, I just checked the Amazon listing, you can get the Cd for 1 cent (plus the usual 4$ shipping I imagine)!

There's one cover of 'Hey hey what can I do' by a band I really don't like, Hootie and the Blowfish, but it's pretty good! I can't find a decent video for it though, there's a video of them doing it live but it sucks.
Sheryl Crow does a good version of 'Dyer Maker', but again it's downtempo from the original.
