This is why men pick females to be the attractive ones so they both could have healthy kids, while males provide the resource.
Men are born with unlimited sperm, they are able to produce sperm until death unless a medical problems comes up. While women only have a number of eggs from start puberty to when they start menopause. The decrease in producing is much stronger within females than males, an average female of the age of 50 will have zero eggs by that age, equals no kids. While a mans sperm will decrease but he is still able to produce offspring, there are risks to the children when the man is closer to his DEATH, but there are also risk to the offspring when the female is closer to her menopause. This is why its their nature to seek out heathly women to produce heathly offsring. The book stated, a men in his 30s will prefer a female of a 5 year difference, then a man in his 50s will prefer a 10-20 age gap! The older the men get the younger mate they seek inorder to reproduce.
