possibly some training in massage also a good idea :-)

When I first started giving massages, I mixed almond and jajoba oil and used it. It smells really nice. The thing is many clients are married and/or going back to work afterwards so they dont want to smell pretty. lol.
I still use the good smelling stuff for the guys who dont mind but now I primarily use Vaseline body gel oil. It's unscented and absorbs quickly so they wont complain about being oily.

The non scented oil or lotion - towels - baby wipes - I have a couple different types of relaxing cd " s or downloads for them to choose from ( some guys don't like my Kenny g lol ) Depending on if you are doing in or out a fan is always nice to have.

Yeah ... obviously you're clueless about what we're doing here. Thanks for your input.
Tease, I use eucalyptus massage oil from bed bath and beyond for the single guys. It's for men and women. It smells sooo good!
For the married guys, I use unscented only. Don't wanna get them in trouble. Always give them an option.

I agree with Nikki Fox - stick to the unscented oils! Some people are sensitive to fragrance. And no matter how cheap or convenient it is, never use body lotion or baby oil. Your hands will be a disgusting pruney mess at the end of the day.
As far as music, you can always go for those typical relaxation CDs with waves crashing, etc. I occasionally massaged to Sade (something about that woman's voice!) which clients seemed to enjoy. The best part about working with music is it's like an audible clock. If the session is 60 minutes and you're halfway through your 60 minute CD that's your cue to move things along.

It probably depends on where you live. I live in NJ and I charge $150 and I still get asked "is that full service?" Yeah loser, like Im going to sell you my pussy for $150 freakin dollars! Thats straight crack ho status. GTFOH. But NJ/PA is cheap even for escorting. I need to move. lol
I saw a post on this site once saying, "Check the rates in your area and charge a little more"

I'm sure the ladies in your area would rather that you fished for their rates than you come in and undercut their going rate. It is very frustrating to see ladies selling themselves short needlessly, capitalize on being new

MalayaTaylor did NOT charged $400 an hour for massage. Do you have the actual link where she posted that? She charged $400 an hour for escorting. No one charges $400 an hour for JUST massage and if they say that they are - they're lying. Search her posts again what you posted here is not true. The standard for massage is $100/$150 for hj. I have seen ladies charge way more but they're always willing to do way more. nikki, I have to disagree with something you said. In the industry I believe in charging a little under the competition when you're first starting out. A lot of guys will not take a chance on the new girl. However on the flip side, when you start out on the higher end and you give a damn good massage - you can get away with it. Also ladies don't forget about SEO for your massage site!

I Was amazed at that rate but just thought I needed to move. Lol I understand your point but I was more referring to a huge disparigity in the rates based on what was mentioned. that said you only get to be new once and if there is little competition in that area and she is hot she may have no problem getting top dollar. You can always come down.

Lol... This girl charges 200.... Plus upsells another 250 for a nude hand job..... so 450 total..... Nothing else on the menu.

Manhattan has many places and indys that just do nude massage for 250 and up..... 400 does seem like too much.... But whatever works.
The country has been looted.

I'm guessing it's 200 for the hour.... The 250 was the upsell.
The country has been looted.

Rates in the Carolinas and rates in NYC are two totally different things, Mike![]()

Tease , to answer your question...if you put a professional image out there/conduct yourself as a pro, bodyrub guys will flock to you. Most of them don't care if you have reviews or not. Most bodyrub clients are not hobbyists...which is why they're a little harder to screen...but I've found a tool that helps with screening these guys. It's godsent.
