Default Too close to regular customer?

So I've had a regular customer for the past six months and over this period of time we've become really close. So close actually that I don't allow him to sit at my stage and I don't dance for him. He is completely respectful and fine with it, but is it weird that even just thinking about dancing for him makes me cringe - it'd be like dancing for my dad, or brother, or best guy friend or something. Even when I'm on stage and he's sitting at his table, being naked in front of him is SO AWKWARD!

Anyone else have experiences like this?

No. All I see in them is a big fat wallet.

Oh yeah that's all I see him as too. That's why it's so easy to carry on getting money from him without doing anything in return except talking to him.

    LOL at the comment.

I never had that problem when I was dancing, but maybe your issue is your perception. At first when you saw your customer he was just that, a customer and now maybe because your closer to him he's more like a friend. Its easier to dance in front of complete strangers ( at least for me) then friends or family member because you value what they think about you.

I have a hard time as seeing guys as just walking wallets (despite what my sig may suggest) but I've never felt that close to a customer before. I think it's awesome that you are still getting money from him without having to dance or anything, but maybe in the future try and keep your customer's at more a distance. It doesn't seem like it's an issue in this instance, but I could easily imagine how getting too close to a customer like that could bring you problems.

Don't lose sight of the fact you're at your job. If he is paying you to do nothing then great, so dance and pay attnetion to someone else who could potentially give you even MORE money to not be lazy!
Don't take that the wrong way. Just keep in mind that what you get for no effort, should not prevent you from earning even more.

I never experienced that... sounds like there is more to the story.

I can relate to this. There's a guy that comes in to see me and he is seriously the coolest guy ever in life. We talk, drink, joke around and genuinely enjoy each other's company. It's extremely rare that we do any dances. He tips me on stage, but I think it's more out of support than anything else. Sometimes, I even feel a little silly when I dance for him on stage because it's almost like we're beyond that. We've spent a lot of time together and know each other well. When it's time for him to leave, he never hands me money. It's like...he doesn't wanna pay for my company, but he understands I'm at work? idk. He just sets it on the table. I hug him and wait for him to leave before I pick it up because he's really like my friend.

Even our conversations are rarely sexual or even suggestive in nature. We have such a nonsexual relationship, which is so weird for the strip club. I really think he likes me more as a person than as a woman.

He's never asked me for my phone number. He's never asked to see me OTC. He's never even hit on me. I like him a lot (obviously). And I'm veryyy well compensated. He is perfect. <3

And I think he's cool as hell. And hilarious. And....smoking freaking hot. *sigh*

If only we'd met under different circumstances! Like I was 40something, he wasn't married, I wasn't a stripper, and we met in a coffee shop! That'd be awesome!:)
