Default hesitant to start... But really want to !!

Hey ladies... So a couple of weeks ago I was going to start at a club doing a day shift, but then talked myself outta it because I figured it wouldnt be a good club to make money (compared to others). I`m visiting two clubs with a guy friend who said he knows dancers who make good money there... I`m just really worried because I don`t want to get myself into an unsafe situation with a customer or employee. I`ve read the tips for safety on here, but I`m still nervous! Also don`t have a car either, so that`s another thing I`m concerned about.. It seems like if you`re smart and aware of your surroundings, everything should be alright.

Tips for not chickening out again
    ?
? I really want to get going but I think I might talk myself outta this!

right, you don't wanna get in a sticky situation anywhere! you have to figure out if this is what you really wana do even if it's your last bet on making any kind of money. find something to motivate you. i'm not a stripper yet, but i plan on being one once i get my insecurities out the way. i often fantasize about the money i'll make and how i'm going to spend it (paying off college tuition and buying fancy things) but exactly how do you plan to get to work hun? i guess it won't matter much once you get the job because you might make enough to buy your own car! :-) i wish the best of luck to you.

I know a lot of girls who just take cabs to and from work. A lot of clubs have regular cab drivers that they trust to drive girls home after their shifts. And as for the nerves, all I can say is that:
    1. They're never gonna go away
    2. You're going to be able to keep finding excuses to talk yourself out of doing it
    3. You're never going to feel 100% ready
    4. The best way to get rid of them is to just go in and audition already and you'll wonder what on earth you were so afraid of in the first place(no one is expecting a great show, they'll be able to tell that you're new, and that's ok, everyone started somewhere)

I am on the same page you girls are in. I've got all the material things; shoes, clothes, make-up, babywhipes ect., but continuously keep making excuses not to "yet". My latest one after pumping myself up was that a little razor burn and a '5 o'clock shadow' like look was showing up right after I had shaved clean my vajayjay. So now I have to get waxed before I can go on stage. And get a few more thongs...

But I will start! Soon- ish.... plus my 35-40 hour work week at $10 an hour is also taking up a lot of my energy and time. Not about to quit to start dancing, but I'm sure I can start to fit in my schedule somehow! If I make good money I might consider quitting... tho' I'd have to really make bank! I'll never know til I start, that is.

I know I will have the guts to get on the stage and dance; its on the floor I will be nervous about. I've always been the girl to keep her head down modestly, so to speak. I've been called a 'wallflower' many times. On the floor I have to approach the customer, shoulders back, head high, and a confident smile and grace about me. Talk about a big change for me but one I am excited to face! Being paid to be pretty sounds to good to pass up!

I think you should go in there, be very friendly and introduce yourself to all the staff and dancers. Atleast put it out there that you are polite and started off on the best foot you could. After that I say stay to yourself unless someone genuinely wants to help or befriend you. Watch out for those that only like or help you when it is beneficial to them; I know a few and it is not a real friendship. Following the club rules and being as courteous as you can will surely put you in good standing. Least this is what I plan on doing, .

    Hoped I helped!
