Default A Girl Who Gets It All--String of Dances and VIP's

I work in this club where it is always half empty. Even on weekends. There are always more girls than customers. It is bad enough for the seats in the bar and at the tables to be taken by girls more than customers. Sometimes we all get VIPs. However there is this one girl who always gets VIP and always gets strings of dances from almost every guy she comes up to. The interesting thing is that she never spends more than 3 minutes talking to them. She gets them for dances and/or VIP right away. Any ideas on what the hell can she possibly say to those guys????
I can't hear her unfortunately when she speaks to them or I would be posting her secrets on here already. LOL

Hm....what kind of a reputation does this girl have? I would like to give her the benefit of the doubt and not point the extras finger right away...is she extremely attractive with a great personality? Are you sure you're not overestimating how many guys she takes for dances? Does she have anything else that sets her apart from the other girls? Like ethnicity, height, body type, hair/eye colour, wardrobe?

If everything you say is true the only way I can see a girl getting "almost every guy" to agree to a dance or VIP is that she is either 1) Very hot, llike model hot, with a great personality and conversational/hustling skills to boot, 2) She's one or more of the above and is offering price discounts somehow or 3) extras in an environment where she doesn't have a lot of competition.

I used to work in a bar like that. It was kind of divey, empty often, but really fun, and I usually made ok-good money because I developed a solid hustle and business skills. It all comes down to the same principles you learn in business/marketing/economics class. If you work in a club that has no customers and a lot of dancers, that's not a favourable market (obviously) because the power is with the customer because the market is oversaturated with supply and there is not enough demand to support it. Consequently, businesses in this oversaturated market (the dancers) end up competing for customers, and those that lose the competition, just like in the real business world, often end up out of business (they quit because they can't make any $). So you need to look at it like musical chairs ok? There are not enough chairs to go around. The chairs are money in this analogy. You need to be a chair hoarder. Not only does this accomplish getting you more $$$, it makes more girls quit faster because they aren't making $ because you are making it instead. That sounds cutthroat but don't worry about the other girls. If they have half a brain in their head they will be trying to do the same thing.

Things that will give you an edge:

-appearance: up it, extensions, better outfits, working out more, etc
-conversation: READ strip and grow rich. It is the bible of hustling. And take notes so you can refresh your memory before work.
    -body language: (RL conversation)

Male Friend: "So I was talking to these girls the other night and they asked me how to make a guy fall for you."
    Me: "How?"
Male Friend: "I said, it's so easy, just touch his arm and laugh at his jokes."

So: Touch his arm and laugh at his jokes. Works. for realz

-Mix it up: When doing strings of dances, mix in bits of conversation with massages, dancing, lapsitting (if allowed), tell jokes if you're funny, whatever you're good at to make time pass without them knowing.

-Offer deals: There is nothing wrong with offering deals if your club allows it, especially in this competitive environment. If your club does 20$ dances, that works out to ~$300/hr, or $150/half hr, so knock a bit off if the club is really dead and you need to make cash. Use your discretion and judgement. Some girls might disagree with me but if I was having a shitty night, I'd rather knock $50 off the hour and leave with $250 than try and push the $300 and end up with nothing, or just do single dances and maybe leave with $100 because he got bored after 5 songs. Doing blocks of time guarantees you a higher amount of cash. Discounts are also great way to convince customers that seem on the fence, but for them it's sometimes better to just offer them a free "trial" dance that is free if they keep going and otherwise costs them only $20 or whatever your single dance price is. BUT DON'T DO THEM ALL THE TIME or customers will start expecting it, and then it is no longer a discount...

-Offer "legal" extras: shoulder massage, palm reading (yes I'm serious), private table dances, etc to guys that are not interested in lapdances, or want to go later

That's all I can think of for now, good luck!

Many clubs DO NOT allow dancers to give dance discounts.

^I've never worked in one that expressly forbid it. Also I don't think legally they are allowed to tell you what to charge...independent contractor status. Each dancer should be able to charge what they want, but then, the states has a lot more difficulty with the line between contractor and employee from what I hear. Obviously its not something you shout from the rooftops though if you're doing it in a club that doesn't have ruled against it...common sense. I still stand by this as the easiest way to dig yourself out of the hole that is a 0 dollar night as a last resort.

Yeh, I work in the U.S. and all the clubs I've worked at, undercharging is always against club rules (and strictly taboo, considered almost as bad as doing extras, in the sense that the other girls will basically run ya outta there for that). The only exception might be like, a "special" that's commonly offered in the club (many clubs require you to do a few 2-for-1 or whatever specials every night or else you have to pay the club out for them, the guy usually gets a free t-shirt with it or whatever too). But if I tried to randomly sell a guy a dance for some arbitrary amount that's lower than what any other girl there is selling the dance for? He'd run his mouth about it to other dancers, point me out, and I'd prolly get in trouble with management (and if it's a scary dive, I'd prolly have to watch my ass around these other girls!)

She is closing early and often. Good selling technique.

All clubs are different with discounting VIPs. At my club, they don't encourage it but if few dancers are making money, they don't mind. This is because the club charges a set price for the room which the customer pays and if no VIPs are being sold the club doesn't make that money. I've done it and many other girls have done it.

Thanks, Odette! It really does take the work out of conversational skills and helps make moneymaking automatic no matter who is in the club.

    We appreciate the endoresement!

I've changed the program a lot from what it used to be, but we are keeping up with the times,

I've seen clubs where girls wait for customers and do not approach them, so when a girl does approach the guy, her ability to make a sale quickly is far better than in clubs where most girls hustle.
Personally, "wanna dance?" doesn't work at my club, but trying to move a customer in 2-3 songs is always the goal.

Selling vips is all about privacy!! Sell the privacy and don't make promises you can't keep! The more honest you are the better, that's why my custys love me!
