    Default Applying online?

Okay...so I'm going to apply to a few strip clubs...online. Most of them are a good hour away from me and I've been nervous to strut in by myself. I think the online application will be a good route for me, simply because I'll have a lot more confidence if they actually call me first after seeing my attached picture, which, really isn't even insanely flattering.

Anyway, I'm new to all of this!! On the online application it says to attach a picture or resume. I just attached a picture, because my resume has absolutely nothing to do with working at a strip club.

For the "occupation desired" I typed in waitress. There's a mandatory "message" section as well, but I don't know what to write. Should I just admit that I've never worked at a strip club before, but that I'm very interested? Possibly in becoming a dancer in time? I'm really not sure what they expect here. Is this where I explain why I want to work there, as if it's the actual interview?

I'm way over-thinking this, I know. I just want to fill it out right! Tips on what to say would be lovely.

I too applied online before I started dancing at a club I had heard good things about. I sent in the picture and.....heard nothing back. For me it was a way to delay the inevitable....going in and auditioning (or in your case talking to a manager about waitressing.) So that's my experience with applying online.....that nothing came of it. I don't even know if they check their inbox? And I later applied in person at the same club and they hired me right away after an audition on stage. If you don't hear anything back from the clubs within a reasonable time frame, my suggestion would be to put on a hot outfit and do your hair and makeup nicely, and go in and talk to managers. Be aware though, that when you go in and say you want to waitress, they might try to talk you into dancing instead. As for the message section of the application....maybe write that you're new to working in strip clubs, your availability, your waitressing experience, and your desire to waitress but you might think about dancing if there are no cocktailing positions available.

I've never had any success at all when applying online. In fact, even when I have been given hiring manager's direct email addresses I've never had a single email back.

Maybe try, but to be honest an audition in person is always better. I mean, you're going to have to do it anyway. If you're too nervous to do that, or to handle (potential) rejection, maybe this isn't the career for you.

    Personally, I'd go in.
I think that shows more initiative, more desire, more drive.

It shows that you're willing to take the time, get ready, drive there and actually TALK to someone.
(which is what you'll end up having to do IF you get a response from an online application)...(craigslist is different though, from my experience)

The no experience thing shouldn't hurt you as long as you tell them you're trainable, and willing and ready to learn.
Just be honest so you don't get caught up in anything you can't handle.

No strip club will hire a girl based just on photos she sent in, because they could be old/fake/overly photoshopped. They'll make you come in for an audition anyway, so you may as well just suck it up and do it. It's really not that big of a deal, promise!

You really need to go in and apply in person. Look your absolute best (including hair, makeup and attire), and act like you're the best of the best

I applied to a club online just to see..but I am way to fat still to be stripping..anyways I sent a recent picture of me with the app (my avatar pic actually) and I seriously hit send and 10 minutes later the club left me a voicemail. I haven't called back because of few reasons..first I am too fat. Second I am scared. Third because they are fully nude. I am also a bit worried because I checked out their facebook page and for the past week like 3x a day they're posting they need to hire at least 10 new dancers.. the dude on the voicemail seemed nice and I've been to this club before and it had a family type feel to it..that was like 2 years ago and the 2 dancers who gave me and my guy dances still work there..

I applied online too and never heard anything back, and eventually just went in and got hired on the spot in person. It's very true what a previous poster said about them making you audition regardless, so you might as well just skip the online ap and go straight to the audition

My experience has been, applying on line is bullshit. I have applied at clubs online and never heard back. I have sent pictures and videos and never heard back. I have awards, and shit and I still hadn't heard back. When I would go to the clubs I would be hired on the spot and told that they never got my email. This has happened to me 5 times. It's best to go in. Even if the club is an hour away, I say pick a day and go. Make an entire day out of it. It's better to walk into a club and feel the atmosphere anyway.
