Question Do you think your customers are "sick"?

Lately I have been reading a few threads. Ok whatever I been reading threads since 2009 but thats neither here nor there.
I have noticed that alot of girls refer to their customers as "sick in the head" , "obviously cant find a 'real' woman"... and other things like that.

Have it ever occurred that you are being judged too?

"Your a whore" , "You can't get a real job" , " you have daddy issues".

How does that feel to you to be generalized? What happen in your life that makes you believe that NORMAL guys dont visit these sites?

I know for a fact when I spend money on a girl I am not "sick, or demented"

I just do not get the negative attitude towards sex.

We all cry we dont want to be judged on the forum, but run right back to the forum to "shame" your customers.

    Thoughts?

No, I don't think when you wear women's panties and show only your women's panties on your cam when you log into my private chat, then create an account here to scold me for laughing at you that there's anything abnormal going on. It's completely "normal".

Of course I don't think my clients are sick! Just because they want to come into my private chat and talk about shoving baseball bats and garden hoses up their asses doesn't mean they're sick.

But I have to agree with above, why make a fake profile to scold us for laughing at your desire to see us covered in Cheez-whiz for $1 a minute? THAT'S sick. Just own your oddity and be proud of it!

That depends on which comments you're talking about. Guys with fetishes? Whatever; they have fetishes; they get off to things that are a bit different; who am I to judge?

Guys who come in and demand that I leave my toddler's bedroom door open so he can hear me camming? That's sick. I judge people who tell me that I need to change my standards or morals, or who insult my intelligence by trying to con me or get something for free.

I must be missing these threads.... can you link to the ones that have "a lot of girls" referring to their customers this way? I just personally haven't seen that as the generalization around here.

I actually think the majority of us have a pretty positive attitude about camming, sex, and our customers. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here...

I never considered my custies sick, I have encountered some great catches on cam. Most of the time, I assume that they are just bored, curious, or into a certain fetish that they don't feel comfortable expressing to their SO or they could be just shy around women, etc, the list is endless. The only guys I find that sick are the assholes who freeload and troll....They need serious help

You have been reading this forum since 2009 and then joined this month pretending to be a cam girl, and you wonder if we think our customers are sick? Hmm...

I have never noticed anyone referring to their customers as sick, and I don't know why you're still being allowed to be here...

Yeah, sometimes chicas here criticize customers...it's called venting and finding common ground laughing at things that frustrate every cam chica from time to time

Some chicas like and respect their customers, others don't. This is just an observation, but from what I've gleaned chicas who would rather be doing alternative forms of work tend to be more critical of their customers, and I understand that completely. In any sphere of work, annoyances seem more intolerable when we feel we have few if any immediate palatable alternatives. Sometimes, though, criticisms of our customers just reflect a needed moment of venting, nothing more.

I don't dislike or like my customers as a monolithic group, in that I see each individual as just that. Some guys are awesome, while a few (luckily not many) are assholes. Some have sexual habits I find unusual, some are highly amusing to me, some I find hot, and a few are blocked cuz what they're into disgusts me.

As far as views and judgement regarding 'deviant' sexuality go, surely it's not a shock OP that sexuality and sexual expression is continuously contested terrain on a societal level, and often as well within our own minds. We're socialized to think of certain expressions of sexuality as 'normal', while or jobs and our own experiences teach us that 'normal' doesn't exist. We actually grapple with the same issues that some of our customers encounter, when they're raised to think of sex workers as stupid hoes yet they encounter bright, educated, highly personable chicas on cam. Cognitive dissonance much?

Human beings judge. We do it here, and we do it IRL. On a multitude of levels, some of which have nothing to do with sexuality. Since sexuality *is* our job it seems natural to me that judgement would be par for the course. Through our work we encounter every flavor of fetish and sexual prediliction out there. For some chicas most of this is brand new. Other chicas are far more experienced than their customers. Some embrace their work, others tolerate it, and some like me do a combination of both, depending on who I'm with and the specifics of his personality and our interactions togther.

I think it's possible to have a cool discussion about this so I left the thread up, deleting the insulting commentary included in the OP. There's some wicked responses written above mine :-)

For the record, no, I don't think my customers are sick at all. People have different fetishes and they shouldn't be demonized for that. And I don't think they're losers for paying for camgirls either. It's just something they're into. It's a hobby. Fortunately for us, their hobby pays our bills!

You're right. Someone may think I'm too stupid to get a "real job" or that I'm just a big oozing whore, or whatever they want to think.

The minute you ask if I'll fuck my dog or worse, you need some fucking help. Sorry. It's true.

You can judge me all you want, I'm not doing or thinking anything wrong.

Some of these guys really should probably be found and dealt with.

Good luck in all your ventures "fellow cam girl".

P.S. When someone says "Your a whore" I respond with "my a whore?". So that person thinking I'm stupid, not a big concern. ;-)

Look at it from the job point of view. Ignore the fact that we're talking about sex and sexual habits. In jobs that you've held, have you never had customers or clients that just drive you insane? Did you never talk about that with co-workers or other people in the field?

I've worked in a few industries; tech support, fast food, retail, general office work. In any industry, you're going to encounter people that are going to push your buttons, and you're going to vent. I don't see how you can NOT vent without going crazy. Take tech support: the average IT worker starts each and every call with the assumption that the person on the other end of the line is an absolute moron. Why? Because they get it all the time. Does that mean that they think ALL of their clients are morons? Absolutely not! They'll remember the pleasant ones, the ones who were nice, or who at least respected the tech for what they do. They'll also remember the ones who were completely batshit insane (as in, getting mad at IT because they [the customer] did not know how to copy/paste), and they WILL share those stories with others. It's the same here. Camgirls remember their good customers, and we treat them well; we also remember the horrific ones, and feel the need to vent. A lot of camgirls will start their show with the assumption that there will be a lot of freeloading asshats, because there usually are; we just know how to work past that, and we do, because the ones who defy our assumptions make the job worth it, just like any other industry out there.

I put effort into my knowledge of fantasies and fetishes. I have a clue where, scientifically, they can come from, and I hold absolutely no prejudice towards the men I cater to.

I entered into camming 'education' lol (browsing forums, blogs, etc, discovering how it's done) seeing negative reactions from sex workers about their clients / audience. It surprised me because I couldn't, and still don't, understand how someone can be a sex worker, and not put an iota of thought into fetish research. Put simply: It's prejudice that doesn't need to be there and won't help anything, including your mindset, and your earnings.

However, it is a risk to disclose personal information to strangers, and for many of us who value our safety, privacy, lives etc, etc, etc, it's not a risk we would be willing to take and one that we cannot afford to be light-handed with. I don't blame girls for automatically assuming the worst when it comes to parting with actual personal details about our whereabouts when the truth is that as much respect we can have for any client, we don't know them or their motives.

ThatOneGirl said it very well - " I judge people who tell me that I need to change my standards or morals, or who insult my intelligence by trying to con me or get something for free." Anyway, I have the impression that we're talking alone here.

I think 'sick' is a very relative term. A foot fetishist might find vanilla porn 'sick', and a vanilla porn enthusiast might find naked clowns disturbing. Bottom line for me is that I don't judge anyone, but if it's not in my personal comfort zone, I'll tell you. That being said, having a fetish or preference that isn't for *me* doesn't mean that preference is sick or wrong. It just means I'm not personally going to cater to it.

Hell I used to be Camwhore on this very forum. DOnt come at me sideways.

Everyone who puts your panties in a bunch is a man. Cut out the stupidity and just answer the question. If it makes you emotional pick a diffrent thread. How simple is that?

no need for apologies, Im used to you guys calling everyone a troll.

but how does that answer my question?

now can I go in and "flag" everyone who I feel like "attacked" me for posting MY opinion? Sure will. Thanks for the points.

    Who is "you guys"?

    Seems weird.

I can't imagine calling someone who I find myself in the same group as (cam girls unite!) "you guys".

Maybe you're just lumping us all in the same group and you ARE a camgirl that is just so different from us judgemental bitches that you can say "you guys".

My issue here? Why are you passing over the responses that are basically saying "I don't judge, whatever's clever for you may not be for me, not my problem."?

Maybe "you guys" come to these forums to get responses such as the one you singled out and find no satisfaction in a response that does not confirm your sentiment that cam girls are judgmental bitches. "You guys" meaning whatever you want it to mean bb
