Default Braces- Can you dance in them????

So I want to get braces again to fix my overbite (should have worn the damn plate), It's not unnatractive but it could be better.

I can't get Invisalign (then dentist said it's not appropriate for my mouth).

The two options I have are traditional or lingual (behind the teeth).

I don't think clear braces are discrete enough for dancers- IMO it just makes you look like you haven't picked up a toothbrush in awhile.

I doubt I can pull off the schoolgirl look (I appear to be in my mid-late 20's).

Be honest folks, what are your opinions.

My friend got braces about a year ago and in all seriousness it made her money skyrocket. None of us could figure out why, nor did we think it.would impact her money so much. Guys were really into for some reason though! So who knows, maybe guys will love them?

One of the top earners at my club is a little latina chick and she has braces. I think they look cute on her and you can tell she's totally comfortable with them, so she can rock it.

I worked with a girl who had braces, but she was also a studunt and looked young, she pulled off that school girl look and banked.

Every girl I ever danced with who had braces, did great!
Like the previous posters said, it definitely gives you a younger look.

Damn, I wish I still had my braces sometimes lol

This thread made me feel SO MUCH better. I'm getting braces next month, and I was really worried about the work aspect of it. I figured that customers would think that they were disguisting. I am getting ceramic on top and traditional on bottom. Wish me luck!!

I've worked with a few girls with braces over the years and all of them made good money. The school girl look for weekend nights could be fun (you wouldn't have to wear your hair in pig tails, wear white socks etc. For eg- a girl I knew just wore a Huslter brand school girl skirt and a black bra as her outfit with her hair out...and it worked).

I currently have ceramic braces, they are like traditional braces but the wire is white and brackets are clear. I didn't want invisalign as braces provide better results and the lingual braces are crazy expensive. They were more than double the price of the ceramic ones, around $15 000....

Mine are going to be $5700 for a top ceramic and a bottom traditional.

I'm getting braces too in about a month. Hope it all goes well for you babe! All these stories of girls banking with braces is definitely making me more positive about it!
Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.
