Lots of guys are telling me I should sell my underwear to the highest tipper during gold shows and whatnot. Is this safe? Is this allowed on SM? Any experiences here with it?

It's absolutely against the code of conduct. I think if they catch you they give out pretty hefty penalties as well. Someone I speak to frequently got a 7 day suspension for a first offence and told she'd be banned if she was caught again. It's because you'd have to gain the guy's contact details to send them to him.

WOW...
NO contact details are allowed to be exchanged under any circumstances, not even email? Fuck, wow. Guys have sent me their Skype, email addresses and im's countless times (I haven't given any of my details out) - I might be being over-conscious, but we can't get into trouble for OTHER people sending us their details can we, lol? Shiiit. I can't believe I didn't know this. Fucking hell though - crazy how so many top girls do this though isn't it?!

A lot of guys send me their contact info too, mostly phone numbers and e-mail addresses. If they're a paying customer, I usually reply by disclosing to them (in my flirtiest, least "stern" way) that exchanging contact info is against SM's rules, and I could get suspended if I tried to contact them.
I never try to contact my custies anyway, but my reply is mainly just for show. If any SM admin goes peeping around my inbox, I know that at least I have nothing to worry about.
I get asked to sell panties all the time..but Im too afraid of getting in trouble. Kinda sucks to see other girls selling panties and never seeming to get suspended or banned! Although with the 35% cut it might not really be worth it anyway..
LOL.
TBH Streamate is selective. If you are a top girl and you are making them money you can do whatever you want. I've noticed a lot of girls selling videos/pics, websites on their profile, giving out their twitter names, selling skype shows. Certain girls even have Shawn's direct line, so if support shuts them down they can just call him up and they are instantly back online. Whateverrrr.
A guy sent me his e-mail via PM and I got a 3 day suspension. I didn't ask for the e-mail but chat log had indicated that I didn't inform the customer that I would NOT be contacting him off site. They told me if I ever got another member's offsite info I'd be banned.
That was just getting an e-mail via message and not using it. I can't imagine if they found out you were making full transactions with offsite info, even if you use onsite currency.
^ That seems really unfair. What I never understand is why don't the sites state they cannot send contact information to models as a rule or they will be suspended? I would have probably ignored the guy too but 3 day suspension over ignoring his message?? MGF has been this way about kicking models off if they didn't report the member.
I do see SM top models offering all kinds of things and not getting in trouble for it. It appears all sites do this to some degree.
Drearea that is really annoying! Ugh, it's not OUR JOB to keep members from violating rules! They SHOULD be sending him an email or whatever telling him it's not allowed! Or when the word email is mentioned in chat, have a pop up.
I mean, wtf.

If Streamate are going to FUCK with us in terms of letting some girls off the hook and enforce STRICT rules for others which could result in serious action being taken against that performer to further limit her for any given period of time, there should at the very least be designated 'tiers' assigned to each model so she knows where she stands. This tier system should be clearly explained and outlined on site, with notification given to performers that to increase in popularity is to have certain additional entitlements. At least that way it would not only give us the security we actually deserve, the prospect of gaining added additional entitlements would give us something more to work towards, and actually be becoming to the professionalism of Streamate itself as a business.
Rules for some, no rules for another; and administering punishment towards a model for a client doing wrong is deeply unimpressive.
I still love Streamate (I still work for them, and of course I appreciate my pay), but really... Fuck that noise.
I agree with your post but ^ that is the reason they still just treat us the way we do. They have no competition in terms of traffic right now, so of course we're going to stay for the lower percentage, the shady rules etc. And in staying they won't do anything that matter, but keep changing the stupid fucking fonts.
Not saying go bambalina, just that we're kind of in a rock and a hard place. Idk. I wish they would LISTEN to us. lol. But I guess pigs will fly the day Shawn crawls in here and says "We're open to model suggestions. PS raising the percentage payout and adding video sales." lolz
I like a lot of the content companies (ELM, C4S for example) the owners are involved listen to us, make changes, site updates, allows us to have direct contact with them, etc. I don't understand why Streamate is so communication fucked and offers such poor support to models when we make up the site. But whatevs.
/end rant
I guess I have been really fucking lucky cuz i get random messages from guys all the time sending me they're emails, fb, phone number, etc... and I always ignore them. it is bullshit to punish the models for that asshole sending us his contact info unsolicited. the member needs to be punished not us.

To keep yourself safe, NEVER just ignore a message from a guy sending you personal information.
I have a copy+paste file on my desktop that contains a "against SM's rules to initiate offsite contact blah blah blah" schpeal, and if I'm just dicking around in free chat I'll sent in a support ticket reporting them as well, just to keep my ass thoroughly covered.
^ well i sure as hell will do that from now on. thnx for that.

Thank you
A top girl was getting down to the last few seconds of her gold show count down and as she pulled off her panties, she said, and you know guys, you can have these panties for 50 gold!
I was like how can she do that and send it to them??
I respond to the guys emails with their personal stuff and I just say that sorry, I can't do that, and then tick the box to save a copy of my email back to him.

I know this is kind of an old thread but...has this changed at all? Lately I've been noticing quite a few top girls doing this and this week have had more guys than ever ask me...I don't really know if it'd be worth it with SM's 35% even at 100 gold a pair but I've been telling guys this is a no no...just wondering.

Unless you've been given written permission to sell panties, I wouldn't risk it. 100 Gold wouldn't even be worth it, tbh, even if it was allowed ... too much of a hassle for $35. At least for me, since I don't own a car right now.
I'm pretty sure you're allowed to sell panties on MFC ... and of course there's e-banned.

Pretty shady that the top girls are allowed to share contact info with custies but the rest of us aren't allowed and we get punished if the guys send us the contact info.
