    Default OKPay

I did a search but didn't find a lot of details. Is this service good, can I use it to take payments?? Anyone like or not like it?

I guess I am going to try it out and report back how it goes. Umm they have a referal thing like Alertpay did. So if you are going to try it out maybe you could use that and help me out I will keep writing back about my experience with it. From what I can tell they take ecurrencies. Their own ewallet currency take is unbelievable 0.5% (Max. 2.99 EUR) , but there are other currencies you can take that take more like cashU which is 10%. They say taking ecurrencies make refunds virtually impossible, whatever that means. The big thing I am wondering about is taking visa and mastercard. I am going through their merchant approval process now which should give me access to everything. It also is supposed to integrate with my website so I can automatically sign up members and sell shows... The approval process is pretty in depth. I had to get a TOS, Refund Policy, and all that technical stuff up on my site. I feel so official now.

My advice would to be not to trust any site that isn't well know to handle your money ESPECIALLY if you can't find details about them. Smelling a little fishy.

What made me feel comfortably trying them out was the fact that I found them on another cam girl's site alongside Zombaio for accepting payments. Also, I did do a search on SW and the only things I could find about it on the forums was some girls saying they liked it and MFC paid out to it? So I thought if MFC uses it, it might be good...

ok after spending like 10 minutes researching I found mixed reviews where 70% people claimed its a scam and others didn't. I think these sites will be useful for you http://www.ptc-investigation.com/pages/okpay.aspx a investiagtion site that looked into okpay.com but re open the case to look again last summer. this link here http://www.bing.com/search?q=okpay+s...s=bs&form=QBRE is my bing results If it was me after seeing multiple very negative reviews about being ripped off money I wouldn't even be looking at the site any more. I hope i helped you.

See, MFC Uses them? Well I only do a couple hundred dollars a month from Indy so I doubt I will have the "they took $11k" from me problem. I do appreciate your research though. Hum.

In retrospect it seems like most services are a crap shoot. I just had Camwealth disappear on me and take their last check back out of my bank account... so poo. Ultimately I am looking forward to getting my CCbill account soon.

Erm I have used OKPAY for over 1 year to get paid from MFC. I have never had any problems with them. The money goes stright in. they email me and say I have money straight away. it was easy as hell to register for. the site is easy 2 navigate. they have PIN CODES that u need to use to even log in so theres no way anyone can steal your account. the money is transfered to my bank everytime no hassle within 5 days just like it says. they take a tiny bit of cash off me to transfer it, i cant remember the % but it's hardly noticeable. i dont know why anyone would say they are dodgy?????????? you get the money straight to ur bank and dont got to use one of them dumb mastercard card things like with Payoneer or anything. u can accept payments from ppl straight to your OKPAY, but it will probably give them your real name because when they pay u it will say "money to: MRS SMITH £500" or whatever just like with PAYPAL. Probably need 2 register as a business if u dont want ur name to show up. I do not have a business account so i do not know.

Thanks TA! I am registering with them as a business, with my stage name as the business name, so that's what the customer sees

Well I might not get the chance to try the service after all because I am having a hell of a time getting approved. I'm married and most of our personal documents are in hubby's name, and no matter what I give them... lease agreement, bank info, drivers license, paystub, notarized document, they won't accept that I am a person. Also they said I should do my business under a personal account instead of a business account. I figure if it's this much trouble before I have any money in there to get out, maybe it's gonna be worse later. That sucks, I really wanted to try them.

I've used them for a while and never had a problem with them getting the money to me. The only thing I have a problem with is getting custies to use it, as they do not allow credit card transactions any more and in order to send money they (the customer) needs to have a funded OKpay account or use another e-currency (this includes bitcoins, cashu, liqpay and a few others that are no good to the US) to fund their OKPay 'wallet'. They don't allow charge backs which is another plus, and of course adult isn't a problem with them.

It could be beneficial as there's not many other places that will allow you to accept money with such low trans. fees in this business. However.. if you were looking for this as an alternative payment method to say.. Zombaio or Verotel.. then this isn't what you're looking for as customers cannot just pay with their credit card. Hope that helps

ETA: In order to get verified (merch level 2.. was 3 til they got rid of it!) you should only have to send a scan of your license and maybe a utility bill..I did not have to send in a utility bill.. I sent them my EIN document and my license they verified my account. But in order to become a level 2 merch.. I had to contact them on Skype in order to get approved. They are in the UK so you will have to get up cock early to get a hold of them. But they will help Good luck!

I've been working with them for about 2 years. Good guys =) I registered and verified quickly, I contacted with support a hundred times. The girls sitting there in support respond quickly and clearly. I withdraw money via okpay debit card and pay for purchases also via debit card.
