    Default Backup And Storage

Anyone use any online backup services like Mozy?

I have TBs of content now and I'm soooo nervous about a hard drive failure or something. And I am going to try and back it all up via DVDs but god if I know how long that will take. Ugh.

I was going to use Mozy a while ago, and I know that now that I have so much content, I have to use something. I'm looking into an external HD.

I use carbonite and have been very happy with it (4 or 5 yrs)- had to restore from it a couple of times over the years

Amazon Simple Storage Service (aka "Amazon S3"), Microsoft SkyDrive, and
Google Cloud Storage are the top 3 IMO, but also the most expensive.

Whatever $$ you'd pay to any of them for a year could instead be spent on enough external hard drives to back up all your content - three times over.

I would go with multiple external hard drives, that way there's no added/hidden fees and you're in total control of your content without fear of someone stalking you online and attempting to access your online storage (unlikely but hey, it's not unheard of).

Check websites like slickdeals and newegg for good deals if you go this route
