Not to come down on you but why did you see him if you knew he gave bad reviews already? You shouldn't have seen him when you saw that in the first place - if reviews are what you care about. I'm all for a girl changing her persona but changing your persona after ONE bad review is kinda silly.

TER also has a habit of linking back your old persona with your new one. Even if your with an agency then go independent they will sometimes link everything together they are pain in the ass over at TER.

Reviews are ok for a little while but really it comes down to your marketing and your client base you build. if you depend on TER or any review board for your business this is where sometime you can go bat hat crazy trying to please men who do not really matter.

I knwo some girls use TER as some type of screening system in their overall screening but you need more then that.

There is a way to have ter not link back to you. If you are smart about it, they will not out you. Trust me, I know.

A bad review sucks and would probably hit your pocketbook some but I would think completely starting over again with a new name would be a harder hit to take. One bad review isn't going to break a reputable provider with high review scores. Hell there is a shit ton of guys who don't even see the review scores on TER because they don't want to pay for VIP access or submit reviews. Those guys are just looking at the general details and the review history of a provider to help them find someone. Most TER members will take into account that anyone can have a bad day, bad date, bad chemistry, etc. What some call a "one off" situation. Nobody can be perfect all the time or get along great with everybody they meet. Most guys realize that and are looking more for a solid review history more than everything being perfect.

TER is a site geared toward the interest of the client, not the provider. That is why they will link a provider with her old name if they are made of aware of the connection. From a client's perspective that information can be very important since there are some providers out there who change names to get away from a well deserved bad reputation. For a provider trying to reinvent herself or trying to avoid a stalker or maybe an ex-boyfriend or ex-husband etc, the TER policy can undoubtedly cause problems. Unfortunately there are also providers who won't hesitate to falsely claim to TER that they changed their names for those above reasons while really trying to just escape their well deserved bad reputation as well. So TER made their policy and they pretty much stick to it absent some extraordinary circumstances.

As far as avoiding getting your new persona linked to your old persona, the only thing you can really do is to avoid giving away information that connects the two. TER usually needs more than just one guy saying "hey this is the same girl". Now if you've told TER your new persona there is nothing you can do about it except start all over a third time and don't tell them anything. Just start out totally fresh and new.

If you had great reviews prior to this one bad review, I would suggest you reconsider starting all over again. Take the hit on the bad review and keep the established review history. What some girls do after getting a bad review is to contact a couple regulars and ask them to submit good reviews for her.

Uggh, I hate the ones like that...I try to avoid them as much as possible but sometimes they seep in (like the ones who list one review handle on p411 but it turns out they have another one that they actually use and are a total douchebag). Anyways...my experience has been that one bad review doesn't hurt my business and the decent guys that you want to see will realize that a guy who gives all shitty reviews probably isn't a reliable source anyways. However...I have 3 different personas: bodyrub, mid-range escort, and high end escort and no one has caught on yet. A good wig, contacts, and a blurred face work wonders lol. I do this because I refuse to let some spiteful idiot who doesn't get his way with BBFS, CIM, Greek, etc. ruin my business. Just keep track of who you've seen and it's very possible to do!

What was the score he gave you Teaze?

I know one escort that a guy posted a terrible false review, he never even met her. Prior to that review she had one review with 7's the rest were all mostly 9's. He gave her a 5 for looks and a 3 for performance. The written part of the review was worse. She tried and tried to convince TER that it was false to no avail. It really upset her and she considered changing her name. The thing is that review sparked traffic to her website like crazy. She wound up posting a little disclaimer thing about the review on her site and just carried on like normal. My understanding is a lot of guys told her that from reading that one terribly bad review they realized that guy had an issue with her. Then she got several regulars to post new positive reviews and after a few weeks it was pretty much a non issue.

Another escort got what she considers a "bad review" score - a 7 on looks and a 7 on performance. The written part of the review though was very complimentary. Another guy pointed out to her that while 7's aren't great, it could have been worse especially since her 7's were the highest score that the "bad" reviewer had ever given in the 6 reviews he had posted on TER. The guy's a "tough" grader and a lot of guys with VIP access on TER will look at the reviewer's review history along with the provider's history and take that into account.

Just curious...when you check their other escort references, do the girls just not warn you that the client was a bad one? I know a lot of escorts aren't out to help another escort, but I'd want to warn a girl if she contacted me to verify a guy.

Well, I haven't ever had a "bad" guy review me from a reference check (they've mostly come from P411 situations like I mentioned before or when I was working for an agency), but I have got 2 references from "well known" girls and I get there and they have obvious STD lesions or hygiene issues and it's like WTF?! I think it's because the girls that give the references are afraid that I'll tell the guy what they said (I won't but I understand because there's so much drama in this business lol). That's why I have 3 personas like I mentioned before so I don't have to worry about "review blackmail" affecting my income and I can turn away those type of guys without affecting my health/$$$.

I've thought of just letting it slide but I know that I don't deserve 8's. I spend hours getting ready for these men on top of bringing a suitcase to hotels to light a lot of candles in the room, portable music player, wine, wine glasses, buy a 4-5 star hotel, and occasionally I order their favorite small room service dessert or bring chocolate strawberries. Sooo I try hard to create a good experience ! Also, having my second review be two 8's when I'm in a time crunch to save up as much money as possible is not good. I move in September so time is ticking.

I was doing really well but that low review, losing my work phone, and now having no reviews really slowed things down. I can't just ask a regular to review me because the good regulars I did have don't even have ter (I recently lost their numbers from losing my work phone (I have clients that contacted me through my phone number on ter so I don't have their email to let them know I'm not ignoring their text messages.) These regulars spend 5-6,000 each week so this has been quite a blow financially.

I thought they would delete the reviews if I took care of the situation. Lovelyme, if you could pm me with info or share it in the thread about how I can get this review mess to disappear I'd appreciate it so much!
I was sympathetic until you said the review was an 8/8. You're actually complaining about an 8/8 review and trying to find a way to manipulate the TER system to get it removed? Are you joking? SMH 8/8 is not a "bad review".

Freaking out and changing your entire work persona over an 8/8 review is absurd. Half (or more) of the "Top 100" rated ladies in the entire country have some 8's in their review mix. Buy a VIP membership and take a look for yourself.

You need to understand how averages work. The more reviews you have, the less each one counts. If you had 1 10/10 review, then get an 8/8, your average is now 9/9. If you get another 10/10, your average will be 9.3. One more 10/10 would make your average 9.5. So you only need TWO reviews for your average to equal the woman in the national Top 100 #32 rank. If you get a third 10/10, your average will be 9.6 - the same as the lady at the #18 spot nationally.

Just get more reviews. That 8/8 will have less weight the more reviews you get. You will lose more money remaking your persona than you will just waiting for a few more reviews.

Wait... the "bad" review is an 8/8"? Teaze, Seriously c'mon now...
Dude do you know how many girls in TER top 100 have 8/8s???? Even I think I deserve 9s and 10s only
but when I got an 8/9, I was FAR from offended. I also noticed that the guy that gave me an 8/9 didn't give anything higher than 9/9 in looks
It really wasn't a big deal. You're overreacting big time. As much as you think you're hot shit and you're perfect.. guess what? No one is perfect. You can change your persona and a guy will come along and give you a 7/7 after a string of 10/10s.. what are you going to do then? Change your persona? Don't even bother. So you think your review is horrible.. well ask the guy that gave you the "low score" what you can do to improve instead of trying to manipulate the ter system. That is what good companions do. You should be asking yourself "How can I make myself better so this doesn't happen again?" not "How can I take this 8 down so I can appear flawless?"

Tease, you can use the tactic a lot of bad companions use and report the review as a fake and have it removed. You could also delist yourself from ter but trust me you will regret it. You got an 8/8.. just leave it alone and move on. That is the best advice I can give you.

@ Obenta: I posted before reading your response. My thoughts exactly.

Basically, some loser was sent in to fuck up my reviews. This man was a nightmare to deal with the entire appointment time. Andddd I'm sorry, but there is no way I deserved the scores he gave me. Plus I have video on my website so it's 100% accurate who is showing up at the door. I wish there was a provider response section where I can explain what really happened during the appointment. I asked him to not review me (due to his low review scores) but he reviewed me anyways. I even contacted him twice and asked him why he posted a review when I told him I don't want to be reviewed (he even agreed to not review me), but he lied and said they won't take it down. TER would only take my reviews down if I delisted and removed my ads. I deleted my ads, changed my domain name, changed my name, added 2 new pic's, and paid for new ads.
TER then took my reviews down and said if someone decided to review me under my active banner then my reviews would be reactivated.

If I've changed my name and domain address, deleted my ads and then bought new ones after I was delisted, shouldn't this be enough to not activate my reviews again? How do ladies who start new persona's not get their old reviews reactivated?
One other thing I just can't resist commenting on...

    You said:

You actually think someone was "sent in" to fuck up your reviews? By who? You said you had ONE review (now two). Do you think it's some kind of conspiracy against you or something? Who is the evil mastermind behind this??

I'm afraid you jumped the gun. It could have been an unusually slow week in general, as July tends to be. And like other posters said an 8/8 is hardly a "bad review." You've probably done more damage by changing your persona, domain name, etc. It looks suspicious, not to mention your regulars may have a hard time finding you.

Eh, just the nature of the business. You can't please everyone all the time. If you had just waited a little longer another positive review would have popped up eventually. Starting from scratch is going to be extremely difficult. You basically let a (good) review cancel out all your months of hard work. Is it too late to go back to your last persona?

I agree. I'd go back with your last persona. I doubt that that one review is why things have been slow for you. Give it some time. Good luck

Oh dear, I'm afraid everyone is right you did jump the gun. I know I know, how could you ever be rated an 8/8, but that just happens. I've had so many reviews that rave about how gorgeous I am but give me a 7 for appearance - frankly in my city I find most of the girls UGLY as SIN and they get higher appearance scores just because they have big tits - don't judge by the numbers, the guys don't even care about those - judge by the words for sure. I know it's hard when you get a slow day or two, but that happens whether you've got all great reviews or a few bad ones.

Regardless, your new site looks AWESOME as do your photos and video (yes I've been stalking you again hehehehe)

I'm coming to Vegas soon, we should meet up!!!!!!

So if you want to be with me
With these things there’s no telling
We just have to wait and see
But I’d rather be working for a paycheck
Than waiting to win the lottery
Besides maybe this time is different
I mean I really think you like me

Just for the record, I think you're hot. No matter what anyone says. Good to see you're still here .
We gotta meet up too someday chick!

As for reviews, I had all 9s and 10s and then someone came and gave me a 7/7 but he said I was "beautiful" in the review.
It was a boston guy so I wasn't too upset. They're tough graders...
