Ok so I recently found a good system of stretches to strenghten my flexibility to be able to do splits. How long (with stretching for a half hour min a day) should it take on average to master. I heard it's a month minimum. Thanks.

yep thats approx minimum amount of time but it depends on your body - everyones different. are you aiming for front and / or box splits? were you able to do splits as a kid?
sports like cycling can shorten / tighten the hamstrings - making it harder to see progress. once you get your splits, then start working on mastering oversplits which makes a much cleaner line for these kind of moves;

Jessica, what's the system you're using?

It's like this one on YouTube 'How To Do the Splits Quick' by username "dancing".

I don't know what a box split is but if you look at the video it describes the one I want to do (forward I suppose?). I never tried to do splits as a kid. I just run for exercise (on tracks and treadmill) no bicycling.
