That didn't work very well for me. I love the tea tree suppositories.

does it work as in the BV doesn't come back? I've been using this stuff from CVS with 6 applicators (forgot the name) but as soon as I'm done it comes back. Was gonna go to the doctor tomorrow, please tell me cause that would be awesome!!!
Ugh nothing I've tried OTC really works. I once had an otherwise awesome gynecologist suggest using an OTC product called Rephresh. It costs $20 and doesn't fix anything ... just kinda delays the inevitable visit. Once I used it and then got a yeast infection. THANKS DOC.
Some of my friends swear by Femdophilus, cranberry pills, tea tree... whatever, guys, that's great for you.
Here's what works for me:
Not banging lots of new people. (Not trying to be slut-shamey since I practice and enjoy this behavior! But new sex partners, male or female, are my #1 risk factor for developing BV and/or yeast.)
Not douching even when everyone else on the porn set is doing it. DOUCHING IS BAD MMKAY. I know, I know, everyone's vagina is beautiful but there is something about the presence of an HD camera that makes me think maybe, maybe this could be an exception? IT'S NOT.
Dating a doctor who can write me a script when I fail at all of the above.
Having the doctor who wrote you the script include refills for when it recurs.
Oh, and I don't think it hurts the effectiveness of your pills but for the love of God don't drink on metronidazole or even fluconazole if you can at all avoid it. I always forget and dear God, I've never been so fucking sick in my life... except the last time.

yea rephresh was a total waste of money for me, too...just realized that this v h essentials you're talking about is what I've been using. It only helps with the symptoms though, doesn't get rid of the BV and for me, a week after I've used it they're back and I have to buy another one.

get some boric acid powder and some empty 00 gel capsules. Fill capsule with boric acid powder, insert into vag, bam BV gone. Also works on yeast. You can order both these things on amazon and make a LOT of capsules for CHEAP

I used to suffer from very frequent yeast and b.v. infections. It was getting so bad last year that I would go to the doctor, have it treated, only for it to come right back. I was at my wits end. It was destroying my sex life and my self-confidence. I started doing some research and came across a probiotic called Fem-Dophilus. I've been taking it for almost a year now (once daily or twice if I suspect an infection) and it has changed my life! I haven't had one case of b.v. since! In my case, my body just doesn't make enough good bacteria on its own. If this is the cause for your b.v. infections, it should work. I've also paired it with the prebiotic vaginal moisturizer, Luvena, which I use from time to time.
You can find Fem-Dophilus on Amazon, but the tricky part is it needs to stay refrigerated to keep the bacteria from dying...and I don't really trust that its kept this way when shipped. Luckily I found a local store that stocks it. Hope this helps!
