    Default Chase liquid reloadable card

    Has anyone used it yet?

I was looking at their fees and I have to say they appear to be the best thus far.
    $4.95 monthly fee
$500 max withdrawals per day/ Up to $3,000 in purchases a day
    No overdraft fees
No ATM fees at Chase ATMs
$0 for adding money to the card at the ATM
    $0 for replacement cards
$0 for loads or direct deposits.

^^^ this is basically a 'business' account that doesn't advertise the fact. It's terms of service include hefty collection fees, as well as annoying 'delays' between the point where funds are transferred to the card's account and the point where those funds become available for transactions.

If you are looking for a good prepaid card, these are the two I used before I got a bank account:

www.mangomoney.com - love this one, it's my fav. They also have a built in savings account. No account fee if you deposit more than $500/mo. $2 atm fee. $600 per 24 hour atm withdrawal limit but no daily spending limits on debit transactions.

www.accountnow.com - second choice, really good card also. Don't remember the fees/limits but I know they are high limits as well.
    xoxo ~ Sarah

Wow had a hard time finding this thread. I didn't know it was moved to dollar den.

I was looking for a payoneer type card without the load fees or withdrawal fees. I currently have a B of A card that only charges $6 a month and I don't get any fees for withdrawing money as long as I don't withdraw more than $500 a week. Plus I can use it to make purchases online or in store like I would any other debit card. My MFC money gets transferred to it as a direct deposit without any loading fees what so ever. This is why I also added it to the cam model section because I was curious if models knew of other options that didn't have many fees associated with it but at most $6 bucks.

So this chase liquid card is a business account? That's odd because it says nothing about it being an account at all. Hefty collection fees too?

I should probably give them a call and see what it's all about. Surprised they wouldn't put this in the TOS. I did see that if you have a specific checking or money market acct the 4.95 per month would be waived. Still I'm going to call and ask to see what other details may be hiding. Also delays on available funds seems like an annoyance. I'm going to ask them more about this as well

    Thanks for the responses ladies

Its not a business account, she said its like a business account. It is just another prepaid card with low fees. Everything they charge is in there TOS. They cant hide anything- it has to all be there, you just have to read it really well and find out which parts apply to you.

If youre looking to get your MFC check deposited there and youre a new account then this probably applys

"Special Rules for New Accounts: unless you already have a deposit account or another Chase Liquid Account with us that is at least 30 days old, or you had an
account within 30 days prior to opening the Account, the following special rules may apply during the irst 30 days your Account is open:

Funds from deposits of the irst $5,000 of a day’s total deposits of cashiers, certiied, tellers, travelers and federal, state and local government checks will
be available on the irst business day after the day of your deposit if the deposit meets certain conditions. For example, the checks must be payable to you.
The excess over $5,000 will be available on the seventh business day after the day of your deposit. If your deposit of these checks (other than u.S. Treasury
checks) is not made in person to one of our employees, the irst $5,000 will not be available until the second business day after the day of your deposit.
Funds from all other check deposits will be available no later than the seventh business day after the day of your deposit"

    As well as

"Longer Delays May Apply: In some cases, we may not make all of the funds that you deposited by check available by the irst business day after the day of your
deposit. Funds may not be available until the second business day after the day of your deposit. however, at least the irst $200 of these deposits will be available on
the irst business day after the day of your deposit. If you will need the funds from a deposit right away, you should ask us when the funds will be available, but further
review may still result in delayed availability. Please see Section 8 “ChECk DEPOSITS” for important information about adding money to your Card with checks.
Funds you deposited by check may be delayed for longer than two business days under the following circumstances:

We believe a check you deposited will not be paid
You redeposit a check that has been returned unpaid
You have overdrawn your account repeatedly in the last six months
There is an emergency, such as failure of communications or computer equipment
If we delay your ability to withdraw funds for any of these reasons, funds may not be available until the seventh business day after the day of your deposit. If you
deposit checks totaling more than $5,000 in any one business day, availability of the amount over $5,000 may be delayed to the seventh business day after the day
of your deposit. If your deposit is not made directly to our employee, we will mail you the notice by the business day after we receive your deposit. If we decide to delay
availability of your funds after you complete your deposit, we will mail you the notice by the business day after we decide to take that action."

and then after your 30 day period is up the normal rules apply
