Default Streamate keeps disconnecting my stream - any suggestions?

For the last 3 days, Streamate's servers have been regularly dropping my stream - about every 20-30 mins. It's incredibly frustrating, especially when I'm building up a decent amount of excited traffic and close to getting a pvt. I've sent support multiple emails with no reply and I cam on low tech settings that shouldn't be taxing the servers. I can't really go elsewhere because I've never managed to get anything out of MFC and cams has pretty much zero traffic.

Anyone got any suggestions for what I can do? This is a huge problem that's standing in the way of me making decent money. I've had a quiet couple of weeks cause of the Olympics and I really can't afford this bullshit.

I'm sorry, I have no suggestions, but I do understand your frustration :/ The same thing was happening to me, and things would get especially wonky the more members I had in my room. The only thing I could say is maybe try working hours when there are less models online? It seemed like in my case things weren't as glitchy during slower times. But then of course, traffic was also slower....

You mentioned MFC and cams, but have you looked into other sites? There are so many out there to choose from. You could also consider setting up with some indy sites that you could run in the background? Every little bit helps. Let me know if you figure out how to fix your stream, I'd love to have SM as a back-up site when my primary sites are slow but I know right now it would just be pointless for me to even try camming there because of the tech issues.

Turns out it was my wireless network cutting into my LAN network. Boo.

If it's your wireless, try camming by connecting the Internet directly to your computer!

I've been having the same damned problem lately. It's always like this with Streammate. Off and on problems. What I have to do sometimes in order to do my gold shows and not stuff freeze up $3 before goal, is exit my show screen in between each show. Check my check, msgs, whatever. Then go back and hope people return. It's frustrating as hell but that's what works for me to work around it. I HATE selling a show more than once!!! It's not my internet connection either. I'm in an extremely good area for internet and I've had technicians out here, I have the best and fastest available. I hope this helps someone push through it being difficult.
