Default How can one get a more chiseled/defined face?

Hey guys, so here is my mug:

And my question is, how can I get a more chiseled face? I feel like a chubby cheekster.
As in cheekbones and what not.

I was thinking if I lose some weight (but I am already pretty slim/skinny I feel at 145 lbs) that I would lose some fat in the face.
Anyone got any advice? Facial exercises? Massaging? Or is surgery the only way and if so what kind of procedures will need to be done? I dont think this is just a masculine thing to have chiseled facial features...I know women would like this too. Just not as "hard" and angular....basically losing the chubby/puffy face look and getting more definition.

so you want more procedures done? I think it'd be more helpful to post on a plastic surgery message board

Some people just have rounder faces. Makeup can disguise it, but surgery is the only "permanent" solution

Maybe clean up your eyebrows a little bit? You said you are 23 or something like a baby, right? Give it a few years!!! Go to the Mac counter and have someone teach you to contour your face.

    1. If I can avoid going under the knife then thats best in my opinion.

    2. Oh I dont want to wear make up.

    3. Figures, just like how I had to have my nose done (had open rhino) because pinching it all the time was doing nothing.

    4. My eyebrows bushy? I kinda like em that way but my friend says always pluck under the brow...never on top? I am 25.

Round haircut is adding to round face.

I don't think there's too much you can do other than age and see if your face thins out with time, or get facial implants. You're fine though, thats the thing with PS you change one thing and then it turns out good and then you wanna change everything else.

Honestly, your face shape to me seems a bit "German" if you will. Round, but actually quite defined. You also look very young. I would say it's likely your features will harden and sharpen over the next decade.

Also, yes the "roundness" of your hair makes your face look much rounder. I think (I don't now how your hair grows) that a cut that allows for the hair to face downwards would be best. As in, not pointed up. I don't know how to explain it.

For what it's worth I think you have a beautiful face. Your lips in particular are amazing.

I don't know if I'm the only one who's seeing this, but the common theme in most of your posts is you scrutinizing your appearance, your mannerisms, hell, even your own thoughts to a point that is at times self-indulgent and obsessive. Frankly, if you want to appear more attractive to women what you probably should be focused upon is figuring out how to be ok with yourself, within your own skin. Possessing more chiseled features will not solve the real issue, and even if you achieve the look you want in that regard you'll only move on to something else. Before it was your nose, now your jawline, next will be ....?
Just stop. Seriously. I can promise you there is nothing more boring or unattractive than a guy (or chica, for that matter) who is obsessed with his appearance. It's not hot.

For the topic at hand I'd suggest you focus more upon working out with weights to build more muscle (which will cut your body fat % overall) rather than cardio or weightloss you don't need, but I can envision that leading to even more obsessive pre-occupations. Are my arms thick enough? Are my abs cut enough? Do my legs look too thin compared to my upper body? etc etc etc. Yawn.

Just stop. Figure out a way to be at peace with who you are, rock the good looks you already have and then for f^&k's sake find a new interest.

Have you considered shaving your head? A recent study found that guys with shaved heads seem tougher.

    1. True, guess plastic surgery can be like tattoos...you get one and then you want more. But I am the point that I dont want to go under the knife unless its necessary. So I figured I would do what I can without going so invasive.

    2. Hmmm interesting, never thought of it like that. But thank you. Oh and I think I know what you mean by the hair that faces downwards...my hair gets all poofy when it grows out but its straight hard typical Asian hair.

    3. Thank you appreciate it, thats one thing my friend girls mention every now and then. I have bow tie lips they call it...they always say its good for lipstick. Im like yeah if I was a girl. I appreciate your input and I am working to improve myself. I do at at times lack the confidence but lately I have been bolder. I have always been shy to approach girls for fear of being rejected but now I just go for it. If I feel the girl is feeling me (showing some signs/signals) then I will approach her. Nothing to lose and I would rather leave rejected then not knowing what could or may have been. It worked last time at the hardware store but that only lasted one week. My first relationship lasted 3 years and 9 months. So all in all only had 2 relationships my whole life and I am already 25. Im not gonna rush it though. I realize now that I need to learn to love myself before I can love another. And to accept myself for who and what I am. I am trying my best to reach out to people now...help them in any way. I admit I am selfish at times but I am working on changing that. I dont wanna be "ugly" on the inside anymore. And I guess I am so concerned with my looks because in my family it was always a topic for all of us. Like when I was little my mom would pinch my nose to make it pointier...like that works lol but I think it might have helped. Or how being Asian we were always told to stay out of the sun so we dont get dark and mess up our skin. But looks fade in time for everyone. Okay I am rambling, I will just work out and eat better and accept myself. I mean I will try very hard. BTW I dont do any weight lifting...I am actually a cardio person. I would like a toned body but I dont like bulky and too much muscle. Actually Bruce Lee's body is perfect imo, its slim but so cut and chiseled.

    4. Oh man If I could I would rock a buzz cut or even shaved but it does not look right on me.
I love buzz cuts because if a man can pull it off...its super low maintenance, clean, and masculine. Also I feel the look is timeless...it never gets old. That David Bechham can pull it off...heck he can pull anything off. Thats one handsome dude. If I was a straight chick or gay dude I would be gaga for him.

P.S. As for seeming tougher with a buzz/shaved head, I can see that. I have friends that went from having hair to buzz/shaved heads and it can and does give em a more masculine look...at times they look thuggish/shady depending on how their face is set up. You know how some people just have a "mean" face. Heres an example of a mean looking face but at the same time I find this dude good looking.

Forgot his name but he was in Eastern Promises.
Oh its viggo mortensen. If you google his name youll see he looks less mean depending on his hairstyle. I think for Eastern Promises they just emphasized his badness more.

Love Eastern Promises. Love Viggo Mortensen. Agree with loveshooks. You obsess about the small stuff. I think you should really try and change that, otherwise you're not gonna enjoy shit in life(I feel like this is something that you may not be able to change by yourself because you're probably so used to obsessing about little things that you don't even realize it). And you're a good-looking guy, but you sound like a insecure girl when you're like 'WAHH, I wanna be prettier.' I feel like you should just appreciate who you are now. A hot asian guy, which isn't too shabby if you ask me.

blacksheep when you say your family brought up looks a lot I can totally relate... I wish they just let me be innocent and untainted haha. And yes I do think it makes us more hyper-aware about this topic and our appearance..more than we like to admit.

Don't do anything to your face. I had a round face for years. It has now leaned out. Take advantage of looking really young. When I was 23, I was told I could pass for 14 by a few people. Although, I hated the roundness I made more $$ for it.

    Appreciate the input.

Yeah I read about that...that having a rounder face makes one look more youthful/younger and they age better supposedly.
Something about have some fat there in the cheeks and what not means as they get older and their face lose cheek fat it wont look so gaunt.
