Thumbs down $18 Million worth of shoes to be destroyed

"20,457 pairs of knock-off Christian Louboutin shoes

    Actual value = $57,490

Estimated retail value = $18 million"

The shoes were seized by authorities in L.A. They will likely be destoyed.

I don't know, I feel that DESTROYING these shoes is a major waste. I mean, in this economy, shoes are shoes. Perhaps they should be sold for $5 or $10 per pair. At least this could cover the cost of the investigation.

Maybe I just don't like the thought of shoes being destroyed.

Knock-offs are so embarrassing! I would much rather wear a pair of more affordable (Amazon price 100-200) Pour La Victoires or Charles Jourdan shoes than FAKE Louboutins. I can't stand seeing some bitch walking around in her "red soles", saying "red soles and goooochi" a gazillion times and walking like an ostrich. It is annoying.

    They should spray paint them.

@strippername I agree! I watched the video and they literally said the problem is just the red bottoms are the signature of Christian Louboutin shoes. Just paint the damn soles! Those shoes were gorgeous! I don't care much for big brand names and I generally frown upon knock offs, but pretty shoes are pretty shoes!

lol on all the boxes it says amiclubwear.com i shop on there all the time. never buy red bottoms though seeing as i also own a few pairs of real loubis and wouldn't want ppl to think my real ones are fake if i had other red bottoms that weren't real.... but they did have cute dresses and cute shoes. just went on their website and it looks like they took down all of their merch. i hope it doesn't shut down that company completely or else i will have to find a new place to buy 90% of my clothes!!
