    Default Wedges

So I've been dancing in 7 1/2" single plastic strap Pleaser stilettos for two years now, and I love em. But my feet are super messed up, and I'm considering changing shoes. I don't want to compromise too much heel height.

Do any of you ladies dance in wedges? Do they give you more support? Have you ever tried the cork wedges? My yoga studio has this amazing cork floor that absorbs the impact from accidental falls, and I'm wondering if that concept would transfer to the shoe. I HATE the look of cork at night, it's just such a daytime/summery thing, so maybe I could just bedazzle the fuck out of them or something...

I've never danced in wedges but I have seen people paint cork so u could paint it black and I doubt you could tell it was cork. I'm not sure how durable they would be for dancing though.

I've danced in wedges. Really not that much different than regular heels, but they might make you stand out in a sea of platforms.

I know this is a bit of an old thread but I actually found wedges to be easier to walk/dance in than stilettos. Particularly if the wedge is solid rather than sm cheap hollow crap I found them to give better support. There is also the standing-out factor.
