    Default first payment...letter from bank.

    hey hey hey!

had my first payment on Wednesday/Thursday last week...received a letter from the bank today to just basically inform me. it's saying it's advising me but it's not actually giving any advice or anything, it's just saying the details of the transaction.

Why have they sent me this :/?

No idea!! Best bet would be to call your bank and ask - it may be that your account is set up so that you will be notified of direct deposits?
I take cash, debit or credit. I just don't take shit.

Maybe this is an abnormal transaction on the account so they sent you out notice just in case it was not authorized by you.

If you are in the UK, we often receive letters to tell us of income received in foreign currency.

If you're not in the UK... not a clue as I'm a Brit. Sorry!

Direct Deposit will be treated differently than a cheque or cash, especially if it is coming from another country, and/or if it is coming from a company that has not sent you money previously.

    I am a brit yes
that would make sense as it says somewhere about it being in euros and then how much it was in £'s, along with the current rate.

i thought i transferred it in pounds though, or does it do it anyway?

If you work on AdultWork, then you will have been paid in Euros even though the amount you expect and are shown on AdultWork is pounds. It's because their account is in Euros.

Its a receipt of an international payment with a different currency than your account. Its standard and you'll get one for each payment you receive.
