Default Ok, If reviews are a necessary evil...how do I go about getting one?

Ok, since I put up an ad on Eros and the dreaded BP, I've seen 2 inquiries on my local review board about me but no comments. I mean this week was better than last since I put up the Eros ad. BP was an experiment to gauge interest. The response was high but discouraging. I now know the error of my ways. lol

I would like even more clients/dates though and eventually raise my prices. I know If I could just get a good review, I could do excellent money-wise. All the TOFTT reviews seem to be of agency girls or $80 specials, though. I cant advertise on the board and get more clients unless I get a review but guys don't seem to want to see me unless I get a review. It's a freaking catch 22.

What should I do?? I've read Amanada's book, read through posts here, and all the escort blogs. Like does anyone have any non condescending advice or want to take me under their escort wing? lol

I only want to escort for like 3 years tops. I want to pay for my MBA out of pocket and still my maintain my standard of living. I want to be the best little escort I can be.

Is that 100% correct? I have no idea which board you are talking about.

If not..... then by advertising on the board the reviews will probably come quicker.

If you're getting by ok with the work that is coming in, just be patient and the reviews will come in eventually.

If you want to speed up the process you can do a few things. If you have a client and things go really well it probably wouldn't hurt to bring up the topic of reviews in the after action chat. There are guys who see girls but don't do many reviews or only do reviews if a girl asks them to do one. Plus a lot of guys like to be "helpful" and if you frame the question of doing a review in that light you'll probably have some success.

Also many guys are going to offer up their board handle as part of the screening process. Take a little bit of time and research that handle. See if the guy does reviews and if so, how is his tone and attitude in the review. If its someone who is very critical of every girl he reviews then you might want to consider not seeing him because you definitely don't want your first review to be a negative one. If its someone who seems decent and gives positive reviews, just bring up the subject after the main event is over and you're doing the after action chit chat.

Mike, at least one board that I know of doesn't allow providers to put up ads until they have been verified by getting a couple reviews.

I've tried to ask some of my dates to give me reviews afterwards but when I mention a board, the guys I've seen have no idea about them even existing. I think that's the only reason they are seeing me because they dont even know escort reviews exist. :-/

You will have a much better chance of being seen by guys who write reviews if you advertise on the review sites. There are lots of guys who only know about Eros, Back Page or Cityvibe since those are the sites that come up most often when one googles "escorts".

How do you go about getting a review? While giving him a bj, ask if he can review you. I'm telling you it works everytime. lol.

If you've not already, you may want to make an introductory post on the board you are referring to if they allow non-verified providers to do so. That may get you more interest from the guys on that board. Though honestly that's not always a good thing either.

check for a meet and greet!! that's the only way I got my first review - otherwise who knows how long I would have had to stay with the crappy referral service, waiting for someone to TOFTT

once you're successful a meet and greet is usually a waste of time, but for a newbie, it's a chance for them to see you in person in all your charm and beauty - if you go to one, be sure to have little cards made up with your name, phone number, email address, url, etc. (you don't need to buy them, I made my own with pretty cursive handwriting on pink paper and folded them up with a heart sticker) - something small so they can toss it easily, but also an easy way to remember the exact spelling of your name or whatever so they don't lose track of you

So if you want to be with me
With these things there’s no telling
We just have to wait and see
But I’d rather be working for a paycheck
Than waiting to win the lottery
Besides maybe this time is different
I mean I really think you like me

Awesome advice! I will investigate how to go about finding one in my area.

    Thanks, Chica!

Be very careful when choosing a meet and greet. There was this huge thing all over TER recently about a meet and greet with screening to get on the guest list, tight security etc... and journalists got in and wrote and "expose" thing about it. Imagine if those journalists had been cops

Actually, the organizer invited the journalist. The article didn't name names (except the screen name of the organizer) but did put a bit of a sleazy slant on it.

I was invited to that event, so glad I declined - Meet & greets are a waste of time; all I ever got from attending was a bunch of guys asking me to hang out. Maybe there was some secret handshake I'm not privy to, lol.

yeah I'm only interested in going if there's a particular provider I want to meet and it's a more "exclusive" party

perfect for newbies or escorts that need the extra boost (or have the spare time) but otherwise a general NOPE

Man, that guy has taken a pounding for that mistake, and is no longer running M&G's..... The artice is available.... A search should yield it.

M&G's can't be a waste of time for everyone..... Or there wouldn't be so many ladies who attend them.... I myself met with a lady around 30 days or so after my first one.

it took you thirty days to meet with her - that's the point. this business is pretty last minute, so in 30days you're lucky if she remembered you at all!

No it had more to do with scheduling than anything else.... As I said before if M&G's were a waste of time for providers..... There wouldn't be so many who go to them.... And many of the ladies who do go.... Go often.

What do you have to do to get into a meet a greet? I hope you dont need reviews cuz this escort review stuff is becoming really paradoxical.

Also I have two massage regs who I am now escorting with. I mentioned to them about the review crap and the want to leave me reviews but I told them since they arent currently members of a review board, ppl wont take their reviews seriously and it might look like fake. Am I right to tell them this? Or should I let them join and try to help me out?

LMAO you are WRONG about that. He is using a different name (which I can't recall). His M&G's are now "UTR" by email/TER PM only and not posted on the open board.

Nahhh doubt it. I met MikeF at an M&G last year. One of the sweetest guys you'll ever met. Pretty unforgettable. Great guy to know.

Really? Fucking unreal! I knew he wouldn't stop throwing those parties. I think it was $100 for guys to get in. All his parties were a big sausage fest. Imagine how much money he makes everytime he throws one.

The M & G guy is a "promoter" of sorts, he'll probably never give up on trying to throw parties. Hopefully many people will be smart enough to avoid him but there will always be those who either don't know about his history or don't care.
