While you may take some time to "smell the roses" occasionally, there is room for significant improvement. Instead of expending energy trying to fill in the empty holes of your day, celebrate them! Take a step back to live in the present before you take another step forward.
By recognizing this, you have begun to identify the creatures holding you back from inner happiness — we refer to them as the PIG, the APE and the Ego.

>Your Awareness Score is 142
Present-Positioned
As someone who understands the importance of living in the present, you are one step closer to full awareness. You recognize that a wandering mind or an anxious individual cannot truly appreciate what's right in front of them.
You've got the right idea! Learn more about the identity your mind has constructed for you, your Ego. And get to know what we refer to as the PIG and the APE. Recognizing these concepts will bring you one step closer to inner happiness.

I got 98. Interesting - I tend to think of myself as fairly 'aware', but I'm ADHD so perhaps that skews my score a bit? The questions about multi-tasking and being easily distracted bothered me. I'm distracted by everything!
Moments like this make me want to hug the Internet and say "thank you." Lestat***sometimes it's what's on the outside that counts, too***I know I have a great relationship. But it'd be more great-er if I let him stick it up my butt more! Sunday Morning

It's good stuff! Arianna Huffington was talking about the importance of unplugging from technology and getting in touch with oneself and I agree it is the antidote to stress. Americans can be too demanding of themselves and get out of balance. Paradoxically, the better my balance, the more work I get done. I can't speak for whether the book is on the money or not since I have not read it but I love where they are going with it.

I liked the question about feeling the ground when you are walking. If I am doing the boxing type workouts this happens way more.
Really, though, I have some kind of mild ADD, so I am wondering if I cheated on that test more than I realized, or what. I never expected to get a good score when I was reading and answering some of those questions. Maybe it's never watching television? I think television is evil and warps people's thinking if they watch a zillion hours of it.

I scored an 85. Surprised it was even that high.
