I used to, but the reality is, this kind of thing doesn't make much difference at all IMO.
One thing I've noticed is that when I'm in a bad mood I don't earn much, and when I'm in a happy/positive/upbeat mood it's the complete opposite.
I don't think this is a conincidence, guys feel the positive energy and respond accordingly (by spending money).
If we're giving out negative energy then guys are negative too = don't spend.
Gosh ... I sound like I'm a part of the new age movement LOL.
There's definitely some truth to this though![]()

I feel like I just screw things up more if I try to mess with them. I don't have the kind of fine motor skills required to fine tune the settings---it's like, if I move the bar more than 1/10 millimeter the picture becomes too red or too bright or too dark. And then the next time I log in, whatever my settings were the previous day that looked so good are now totally out of whack---even though they are still set to the same settings as the day before---so I have to go through setting them again. I just gave up and leave it on the auto settings. And my cam feed seems just fine.
Also, when I look at my cam feed on the encoder it looks slightly different than when I go to Streamate and view my feed from there. So there's no point in me spending a bunch of time adjusting my settings before logging on if they're going to look different from the customers' perspective anyway. Unless I was to pull up my cam feed on SM and adjust everything while I'm live---and that's just too much hassle than it's worth IMO.

Noooo, I screw things up way too badly when I try to adjust my settings. When I first got this cam I spent a long ass time setting everything up just so, and now that it's just the way I like it I never touch it anymore. Luckily I've found the settings that work really well with both natural and articial light, I don't want to risk messing that up![]()

Me too, Fridays. Often it's probably fine, but I am really anal about it looking perfect and I'm constantly tinkering with it! After all, if I look orange it's going to distract from my aura of positivity! ;-)
What's really annoying, is that I recently got the c910, and when I zoom in, it reverts to auto settings (exposure, gain and white balance). This normally means I have to quickly adjust settings while spread eagled.

YES!
But... I kind of have to be though, because my Microsoft Lifecam is dreadful at saving settings. It also does this delightful thing where I'll open the webcam software or encoder to change brightness, etc, when I'm doing my makeup, then when I actually click to START my live stream it will be like 5 times darker!!! Its infuriating. What cam do you use? Yours always looks perfect!
I thought I was the only one this happens to! Well actually it's not that exactly, it doesn't revert exactly but when I cam at night using artificial rather than natural light, if I click the zoom in button more than two times my cam gets noticeably darker. If I zoom out again the color goes back to normal. It's not noticeable at all when I cam in the mornings and have lots of sunshine in addition to my lamp. So... yeah, not really sure what's up with that so I've just been taking the cam and physically putting it next to whatever body part I want to show off when I do extreme close-ups at night. That is actually the one thing about my cam that I have to be mindful of.
