No kidding, right?
I mean, come on. ANY time they see a gun or ammo laying around they should be gathering every last bit of it! They have certainly been around enough military checkpoints that were overrun and more weapons as well, but they never seem to make this a priority. Also, so frequently using a gun when the silent weapons are a better option. Just stupid.
In any case, I REALLY wish they had stayed true to the graphic novels a bit more. In the books, Andrea is one of my favorite characters, and she has a much better metamorphosis that her character goes through than on the show. The Andrea on the show is introduced to us as a sort of "tough / bitchy" type and it so doesn't work for me. Dale was great in the books, as well as his interrelations with Andrea, so I am sad to see that go. Probably my biggest complaint about the differences is that in the books we had a compelling, great black character in Tyrese, but in the show we have been given T-Dog. It is not the fault of the actor playing T-Dog, and I certainly feel bad for him, but as far as I can tell he is basically reduced to the "token black guy". If things keep going this way, I wouldn't be surprised if they only gave him lines like "Daaaaaammmmnnnn!" or "You know dat's right".
