    Tired Curious but scared

Hello EVERYONE!!! I'm new to the site, you can call me Elle. I'm really interested in stripping/escorting but fear is holding me back. I don't want to seize up in the moment and make a fool of myself but at the same time I don't want to get into this and then think later what the hell have i done! lol. but also it's way more harder than I thought to even BEGIN... because firstly i don't want to work in-state but yet I don't think I have enough experience to travel alone...I have no clue where to begin. But I'm so happy I found this site so now I have all ya'll insight to help me, and encourage me to push myself forward! Thank you everyone for they're replies!!!

I hope you find this site helpful. And you're right-traveling is intimidating if you've never danced before. But don't worry too much about seizing up; the first time I auditioned I kinda just walked around the pole with answer in the headlights look. But after a minute I got into the music and rocked it! If you look good you'll probably get hired. Good luck!

The great thing about this industry is that you can always just quit if it turns out it's not right for you. You can audition and never show up for a shift, or work a few shifts and just never return. No pressure to commit to the job if you end up not being a fan at some point.

I'm curious about why you don't want to dance in state? Is it because you don't want anyone you know to see you? I know girls that used to drive a couple hours across state lines every night they worked but I'm a total baby when it comes to driving. Maybe just compromise with yourself and drive to the next county or something?

I agree with Shanna, unless you fall victim to the "lifestyle" there is nothing to stop you from leaving a particular club or the industry all together it it's not for you. If I were you I'd just keep my reg job (if you have one) for now and strip on your off nights until you see if you like it, and like papillonluvr said don't worry about getting hired because it really does come down to if the manager thinks your look is right for the club, and if a certain club doesn't hire you, you can always try another.

    Good luck!

would being a web cam model be a good place for you to start? you do it in the privacy of your own home, you make most if not ALL the decisions. if you're scared it might be a good starting place.

Well yes I actually do cam on a few sites, but I dnt really have a good hang of it... way harder than i thought bcuz I feel its not person to person interactions... idk... I think I'm more nervous of being alone with no guidance, and they always make strip clubs seems so terrible with catty females always trying to fight ... Is it really lik that or completely opposite.

Depends on the club. It's inevitable that you'll run into some bitchy coworkers at some point though, so you will have to develop a thick skin to not let them get to you. The best thing you can do is spend as little time as possible in the dressing room - keeps you away from drama and out on the floor making money. Stripping isn't so complicated that you need a mentor to guide you through everything. Luckily you have this forum to answer any questions though!

There are nice clubs and bad clubs, friendly girls and catty bitches. You'll find a mix at pretty much any club. You'll just have to go audition at a few clubs until you find one you like. I've found
I did best at mid-tier clubs and urban clubs(lord only knows why I did well at those types) and did poorly at high-class gown clubs.

If you don't bother anyone you should be fine. And don't share too much info about yourself (married, kids, where you live) because girl can/will use that info against you. So just be careful about private information.
