Default Any newly single moms that have supported themselves camming?

I am sorry if this has already been talked about. I didn't see anything too current regarding this topic.
I was just wondering if there were any single moms out there or newly single moms that have cammed as their main source of income.
I know that the money isn't guaranteed, but I just want to know if anyone has been successful.
My living situation is about to change. I got laid off while on maternity leave last year and I had a legit 75K/yr job. The problem is that the competition
for jobs like that one is high in the area I live. So that is why I've turned to camming (which I love btw).
Anyway I moved to the east coast to be with my daughter's father, but things are not working out and so I am making plans to move back to my hometown on the west coast,
where I own a house. I know regardless I will make it, moneywise (I will work at Wal-Mart if I have to! LOL), and I have been doing pretty decent since I started.
What makes things more complicated is that I don't have any family to lean on so It is just me and my baby girl. Tough situation!
Has anybody traveled this path before?

You can definitely support yourself and your child with camming. But the path can go a few different ways. You may be an instant success and come out the gate making great money. Or you may have a slow path to success (that's the path I took). A lot of times, you will see some up and down in your income from day to day but over the week it tends to average out. I was not an instant success but I successfully paid my bills every month and I have never worked over 30 hours a week. I used to have a pretty great job (moneywise) a few years ago working in finance so I know where you're coming from. But the potential to make $75K a year is definitely in camming is well as long as you treat it like a job and not a hobby. That just means work decent hours and maintain a schedule. I'm not sure how old your child is and that may impact the amount of hours you can work but as long as you are able to work 6-8 hours a day at least 5 days a week, I think you will be fine.

It seems like you have the right attitude (working at Walmart if you have to). Just keep that same tenacity you have and the money will come in.

Oh yes definately! I have been on my own since I turned 17 and I've been able to put myself thru school and buy my house all on my own.
My daughter is a year old now and I've been a stay at home mom the whole time. I have never been apart from her for longer than 2 hours at a time, and that is something I am dreading.

I was planning on putting her into daycare so I can work the 5 days/week for at least 6-8 hrs at a time. Currently I've been working whenever her father feels like caring for her, which was not consistent.
It took me 3 weeks of asking him to help me care for her while she sleeps so that I can cam during that time befre he finally did something about it. Needless to say it is hard to get on a schedule with yourself and be motivated
if you are not getting the help that you need. But my biggest obstacle right now is the first day of daycare. It is gonna be really tough on me! lol

Anyway thanks for the encouraging words! That helped a lot!

I worked at Walmart XD, I was a single mom that quit in a moment of stupidity out of madness. I went from unemployed and staying with my parents to just got a new place, paid my bills ahead of time this month, and have some left over , and all I do is cam and be mommy. It is definitely possible.

I'm venturing into this too! So far, so good! Just research and have a back-up plan.

    Takiaya, I didn't mean to offend you...if I did, I am sorry!
But I am glad that you found camming as a way to get stuff paid! And GracieBlue, I guess we just have to
    stay motivated and strong!
