Default is the logitech pro 9000 actually supposed to be HD?

Hmm. I know this is a bit of a n00b question. I've been camming for just over a year now my logitech seems to be fine, everyone tells me my picture and feed is very good. BUT...

When I record videos I can't help but think the quality is a bit... crappy. It just doesn't look totally clear. Looks a little fuzzy to be honest, compared to some videos I see on clips4sale etc.

Is the Logitech pro 9000 actually HD? I was under the impression it was when I bought it but I find that hard to believe.

I'm thinking of investing in a new one for making content.

Does anyone else find the 9000 is a bit crap for making videos or is it just my specific cam?

whilst a webcam may be labelled HD, they are primarily good for camming and not that good for recording top quality content. If you want to record decent quality stuff get a dedicated camcorder for the task. camcorders focussing will generally be much better as webcams are primarily used when fairly static. most videos you see on c4s will have been recorded with a camcorder.

If you want something that will double its purpose (ie use it for camming and content making) get a good sony or canon camera that comes with a remote. It may cost a bit of money, but it will pay for itself.
