I'd like to go to the gym as well just because I know I'm not really getting any cardio or upper body work (I don't do pole work). Unfortunately on my days off I'm usually exhausted, and when I try to go before the days I work, I usually die about half-way through my shift. I've tried doing a lot of yoga- like stretches... haven't taken a class in forever, but I've done enough where I can do some good stretching and breathing on my own. I eat extremely healthy... lots of veggies, protein, whole grains, etc. I limit my caffeine to a cup of coffee when I get up in the morning and maybe a diet green tea while I'm at work. I don't normally drink at work, unless someone pays me to sit and have a drink with them at the bar... and I'll have a drink here and there on my nights off. I'd say no more than 4-5 drinks a week on average. Sometime I don't think I eat enough... maybe around 1,300 calories by the time I'm done with my shift and then I go home and eat another 300...but it's hard to increase my calories when I know i don't have the energy to burn them off. I take a butt-ton of supplements... a multi-vitamin, fish oil, Vitamin E, D3, Magnesium, Calcium, b-complex, and i just started taking glucosamine and msm. Does anyone have any recommendations of any way i can help my muscles heal faster? This is starting to get annoying... sometimes I feel like a grandma. It's frustrating because I see girls treating their bodies like a trashcan and they have more energy then me and I'm like WTF?!? I have some stubborn fat and doing some extra cardio would probably help that. Blah...
Also... I've tried epson salt and I love it, but the bathtub in my place is kind of skanky, so unfortunately I can't really take baths...well I can, but it gets dirty so fast I'd literally have to scrub it down before taking one.... ::sigh::
