    Default Staph infection prevention :/

I just lost almost two weeks of work because of a staph infection.
Embarrassing because I got it on my butt (look up cellulitis and you'd understand).
I'm assuming that I got it from work because it would make sense that I got it from a strip club considering it was my poor little butt cheek.

Well, I'm of course on antibiotics now but how in the world do I prevent this in the future?
What measures should I take at work to prevent this type of thing?

OMG I hope you are feeling better! The Mayo Clinic has a page on general prevention here:

Kill anyone you see coming to work with an infection. I picked one up at work too (I saw a dancer at work with it, but didn't know what it was at the time).

It is slowly going away but it still looks damn awful. So flaky. My damn housemom keeps texting me every day if I can come in which is just stressing me out further because I don't need getting fired on my plate. Ugh, groooooss.

I'm not going anywhere near any of the girls from now on. This has been a gross learning experience. I'll make sure to bring something to sit on and clean my ass with rubbing alcohol every time I go in the dressing room.

Soak it with warm vinegar. If it doesn't go away after that, get anti biotics. I had one for months and almost wound up in the hospital. It can spread too. One pimple can turn into ten. I caught impetigo from a club. So disgusting. Be careful, it's not just an oh well thing. And not treated, it can get into blood stream. Impetigo is a nasty staph infection. Probably got it from a shaving cut and someone grabbed the area or from the pole. Most bacterial infections occur from feces. freaking dirty clubs. all of them need serious cleaning.

Sorry I read your post wrong. Electric razors helpkeep cuts at bay down there. Wipe the pole down before use. Second skin any cuts on hands, body or on cuticles. Wash your hands constantly. Do not pick any pimples or touch your face at work. Clean makeup brushes weekly. Sit on a clean napkin where ever you sit on a surface. Baby wipe body down after some physical lap dances. Body spray after. use cosmetic wedges applying extra powder from compact. Throw it away after all sides have been used, no double dipping. Hope this helps
