Default Question about a tattoo, not so sexy

I am going to an audition at a club soon, but my birthday is also approaching and I'm looking forward to getting a tattoo, as a treat to myself. Ive wanted for a year now to get a rat tattoo on my back, about the size of a hand. (I adore rats) anyway, I know this isn't a very sexy tattoo at all, and it may even be a bit weird. will this affect my job as a stripper? Will The manager look at the tattoo and decide not to hire me? Will customers find it a turn off? Lol thanks.

I am planning to get pet rats soon!!!
Maybe you should do the audition before you get the tattoo.Probably depends on the club though.

I've only ever come across one club that absolutely would not hire girls with more than one tiny tattoo. I've seen tattoos of multiple baby daddies' names on one girl, prison ID numbers, and all kinds of other shit... I think a rat tattoo is actually a cool idea... unless the place is extremely high end and/or just overly picky it should be fine.

I asked my snakes their opinion...they think having dinner tatted on you is pretty cool.

I think that you should just wait. I have a few tattoos - one really big one on my whole back (my whole back) and I get asked about them allll the time. It's really annoying.

yea, i dont think getting hired would be as much of an issue than annoying customers constantly commenting on it, which im sure they will. Do you like the idea of pretty much every conversation you have/ dance you give involves explaining your rat tattoo? if you dont mind then go for it, but be prepared to explain it allllll the time. I say this because i have a tattoo from when i was sixteen across the front of my hip and I HATE IT simply because of all the questions/comment i get.

Yea, customers can be really annoying with their tattoo questions. Sometimes they try to play dad and say things like "are you sure you're gonna like all those tattoos when you're older, bla bla bla." The worst is when they ask 50-eleven questions about a RIP tattoo I have... but some customers are cool and will actually like you more because of your tattoo(s) and some will specifically look for girls with cool tattoos to buy dances from so it's a trade-off...

Some upscale clubs have issues with tattoos, but not all. You'll be more annoyed by customers asking about it!

This is completely true. If you're hot, tattoos are not an issue. But customers will ask you EVERY NIGHT ALL NIGHT, "What's it mean" "Did it hurt" "Aren't you going to regret that when you're old" etc... annoying as all fuck.

When customers start talking about my tattoos, I try to change the conversation and bring it back to them.
The second they ask about my tattoos, I'll politely answer and then ask them, "Soo..do you have any tattoos?" "Would you ever get a tattoo?" "Have you ever had a dance from a girl with tattoos?" etc, etc...

It gets old talking about them, but it can be a good ice breaker.

as for your original question, I have zombies, vampires, skulls all "non-girly" tats, and I still do well.
It just really depends on the club, I've never had a problem getting hired, but different clubs obviously have different clientele, and some guys are super turned off by even the smallest tat, some don't give a shit, and if you're hot enough, some don't even really notice and will look over your tat.

If you want it, I say go for it.

Lol I love snakes too! My rats could kill my snake though if given the oppurtunity. They're ferocious little creatures and the snake's not the brightest lol

Some high end clubs will/won't hire girls with tattoos (usually one or two smaller tattoos are fine, if not they may ask you to cover them). If you do decide to get this tattoo before auditioning, you can always cover it up for the audition/work with make up i.e. dermablend (it's great, and will hide your tattoo).
